does anyone have a new image to flash complete with auto updating?
without the volume control problems listed above..
will one be forthcoming?
any views gratefully received
cheers all
p.s. my b.i.l. get the latest codes from his starview box which does auto update. he manually enters them into his d-box and txts them to me and all is good.

To benifa, oggnogg & other expert members
I have s dbox x1 (2 card slots) with a sportster 1.7+UK05 img, with latest SW on it, including the latest nagrarom files. I am in meath on NTL MMDS. Very few images work for me, so far only sportster 1.73 UK01 did the job but...
The Issue: my channel list has the old movie # (not the names) e.g "Sky movie 10" instead of "Setanta golf", on top of that there are numerous number of channels missing... EVERY time I do a "fast scan" I do get the new naming convention & also new channels but then the img jumps or freeze on all channels, even though scan.conf & EMU settings have not changed, did try changing setting of EMU & other parameters but in vain (on both sportster imgs), FTPying back the service, cable & bouquet files is not sufficient, I have to restore the saved img to get back to normal (with missiing channels & old naming convention)
Does anyone know why & what should I try to do to fix problem?
THX in advance for any help given! ;-)

Whatever you say, say nothing when you talk about you know what for if you know who might hear you, you know what youll get. Youll be sent off to you know where for you would not know how long. Maybe I could search through the threads so you dont have to ??

00 = 86 77 C3 84 DD B8 AF 34
01 = 9A 2D B5 30 86 1E 0F 5D

are you always on rte1 and not flicking around. Did you actually time 30mins. A blank screen for 5 mins can seem a long time.

at just before 7 n*l dublin
00- FD7E4DBD89BA5E76
01- C0FAEDFCC2447C25
changed 4-5times in the last hour, might again soon.
note the code listed here is wrong
http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/531363
it has a CO instead of the correct C0 (zero). there is never a capital O in the keys AFAIK
