You could, or you could upload the fix to your dbox. Did this last Friday and not a problem since.
Hi Dangermouse, could you please give me a step by step guide (for dummies) to uploading the fix ......Please

Oggnog,

I see you have a nice stash of images on your share. Do any of the images have the fix for the autoroll to save me, or anyone else for that matter, punching in the codes nightly?

Cheers for any help mate.

Daz.

tammel, by default, commando images do not come with keys or emu's for obvious reasons. try the commando 9 image i posted above - I've included all the files you are missing in you var/keys folder!
Brilliant sully! After 8.15pm keyroll I just got fed up with manually updating keys.. I backed up my services and bouquets, flashed your image and recopied services & bouquets..

Works brilliantly! Like nothing ever happened.. Mind though - Im only on the first half an hour.. :)

Just to confirm on my sagem dbox 2 with sportster all I had to do was get the nagrarom7.rar file from oggnoggs site at http://oggnogg.4shared.com/

I extracted the nagrarom7.bin file from the rar and used filezilla to ftp this file into the /var/keys directory. Then I rebooted teh box and happy days since.

I don't know how much you know about ftp etc. but there is lots of information over the last 20 pages or so. But basically you need the ip address of your dbox (you can get it by using your remote and going to settings\network), a cross over ethernet cable (or an ordinary one if you have a hub handy) and some ftp software (filezilla is a free download) let us know how much you know and i'll try and fill in the gaps...

yikes!

Gents

I need sone help! Does anyone have a services.xml file for Dublin? As of this morning, when I boot my dBox2 it cannot find any channels and when I do a service scan it also finds nothing. My keylist also has nothing in it and fails to auto update every time. Any help would be grateful.

For me it was even easier ftp .bin file to var/keys (overwrite the one already there) pull the plug and hey presto everything worked.
