Yep Ogg the 18/04/08 is great sometimes dont even know the codes have updated :) The later Kuro update was specifically for people with the 8% problem, the Kuro guys told me it should work on most boxes with the problem but others may have a hardware fault. You can actually use it on any Max V but the 18/04/08 one is the recommended one;)
BTW your supplier doesn't sound like the best, better off changing I would say. As for the EV + HD, its bogus to a point as its basically two separate boxes and Eurovox are not affiliated with it. From what I have been told the true HD model is put on hold until there is more demand for it. However there is a Eurovox PVR box to come soon ;)

Strange you say that cause i have only seen it on one site that we would both visit i thought why others werent sending out adverts on it

rite i was wandering if its possible to have a eurovox max V downstairs and a digital chorus box upstairs. i have tried the following in the diagram:
Right is there any way of adding pictures from your C:drive

Hi,
I know I may be asking the same question as a lot of other people but my eurovox max is just saying "NO SIGNAL" for the past few days just wondering does it need to be updated and if so where do I get the firmware?
The last software I put on it was
Eurovox_Max-V-Black_02_07_07

hi lads OGG have downloaded **DNUPMAN v4.2(DVBC_FAV8)** and
**UFL_MaxV_Kuro3_18_04_08** i dont think i have a max v it just sez on the box EURO-VOX max are those files compatable for it

right if it downloaded for ya put this channel dump file on just download it to your desktop then open the dupman file you did your fiirst update with and browse to desktop and press the bottom download button this time it will only take about 3 sec to cross over then connect it to your tv and let it update

hi lads sorry to see codes will not be shown again. have been reading some of this and the starview thread as one of those who has not updated box because at first reading it seemed easy then people started talking about clones etc with only a very slight knowledge about computers and technology I have been scared away from trying it I do reckon that if I saw it done then next time it might be ok but not sure were to turn now?

Winnie .. It is easy enough to do and we can help you step by step if you get stuck
First we need to know what b0x you have and then we can direct you to the correct download.
You will need a null modem cable DB9F to DB9F.
Null Modem Cable

If your pc does not have a serial port you will need a USB to serial port adapter to use in conjunction with the null modem cable.

Hi guys
Just wondering what I need to do. One of the guys from my house tried to update the software on my eurovox. But now all that is coming up on my screen is "Channel not currently availabe". I tried to do a fast install but to no avail as there are no channels. also my signal strength is only 8% when doing the fast install. Can I do anything to it? Its a eurovox max 2008

Ok thanks oggnogg. Does anybody have a link for the firmware UFL for the 28/o4/08 as I have only got a link to the UFL dated the 18[04/08.
Is there any way of getting the n*l codes just for tonight because i won't be able to get the null modem cable until tomorrow. I know that this is against the rules but I have tried to update the box but it just isn't working. And won't be able to update it again till tomorrow. Thanks
