hi neighbour downloaded firmware yesterday just checking have they rolled today if yes then i know my box is fixed thanks

Why don't you check it out and see if it updates, what box and firmware ? (Not heard of anything)

Well when they do and you are watching, you will see a blue banner saying "please wait ***** being updated" - but if you want to try it go from sly sp**s 1 - Menu and OK an Language Settings four settings appear - type 1968 two more settings appear - type 1968 again and key's appear, press the appropriate coloured button for Default Key and exit out to sly spo*ts 1 and see if it updates. Haven't got a blue to hand, it is the yellow button on the black, probably same but check okay.

Thanks did as you said and it came back a ok so I guess Iam sorted thanks for all the help and advice on the site good to know your out there

Guys and Gals,
It is best practice not post any codes on 'any' thread. By doing this you are putting the thread in risk of being closed due to legal reasons, and a lot of people whom do not visit other sources would generally be fuc*ed for information.
As far as I am aware a dedicated page has been made with this information and is updated regular and obviously when possible.
If you look back in previous pages you will find links taking you to it.
This is not a dig or anything and I am sure you agree by following this rule it is in the best intrests to those that have an STB related hobby.

Hi KMAC, Yes you are correct, you have done and you can keep trying, but I don't think you will have much joy !!!!, it's at the top in yellow, the subject is taboo now and not allowed at all - rule introduced on the 9th May :-

Hey scous a quick one i got a few boxes to sort earlyier strange looking on package and parcel meant to be 2008 boxes when going to sysm info there was 2007 software plus the box it came in was pure white and it said on the back of the box on a sticker (REFURBISHED)Howz that sound to ya even the remote batterys were dead ffs :P
