Just FYI after doing the firmware upgrade i noticed again that there was no codxs for choxxxs. there is 2 entries with the provider called noname. i know the rules about codes being posted but can anyone point me in the right direction. presumably i need these codes for chorus. keeps coming up with message no transponder to scan and i've tired just about everything now.

youll have to wait for scouser for setup issues on this one, your provider id is 5e01 and symbol rate 6875, after that i dont know anything about downconverters and so forth.
you can also google mmds setup on top of this page and see if you can get further help

Ok Sc0user you were spot on. The Box i have which i just borrowed from a friend is the Max V and not the TX version. He was sent the wrong type. Believe the Max V is for cable so that explains that. will try again with the correct box shortly. Thx a mill for the assistance.
