yer i found the file before i just typed it in . but on my old FW 15 10 07 im still only getting 19 TPs and with 150 channels which is more channels than what i was getting with the new FW but some of the main channels are missing.but what is a CC issue anyway

CC is cable company. If you go into menu, installation, user installation, what signal levels are you getting of each TP. First with booster on and then with booster off.

il have to put the new FW on to get the signal booster as its not on the 15 10 07 FW il try it now

with the 18 04 08 FW without boost is was anything up to 30% red and with boost its 93$ im getting 27 TPs with the boost on but its missing a couple in the mid 300s and a couple in the 500s plus some channels have no names on them

You must be at the end of your keyboard waiting :) Yep you can get them at Maplins http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx?ModuleNo=965&C=SO for a fiver. They do a 6 or 12Db either should do but try the 12Db one as a preference.
You attach this to the main feed and then into your box. Do a factory reset and rescan. Remember to turn booster on before rescan also.

should i try and get a 9db instead of a 12db or will a 12db be better for me .just cause i know a couple of shops i can go too.to try and get a 9db

Hi lads, my problem is I have lost Chan4 Sky One and LfcTv so I was wondering is there any simple way to retrieve these without messing up my favourites. My friend flashed the box in May so some kind of a simple step by step just using the remote would be fantastic. Thanks a million in advance.

Hey guys
Does anyone one know of a way to keep the ppv channel. Its very annoying the way it keeps tuning in and out.

no it only comes on when there is an event on like wrestling or boxing or if someone in your area orders it.

I have a Eurovox and am on ch**us in Dublin. Two days ago my upstairs ch**us box said the firmware was being updated and it went through the process.
Since then, the Eurovox picture is breaking up and bcame unwatchable. I did a powerscan, and have lost most of my channels. Also they are all coming up as channel 1 TV etc.
Any ideas what has changed?

Is the first unit downstairs still working fine??
If so it sounds like the CC have dropped the signal strenght a bit.
you may need to get a signal booster to keep the strenght up on the second box.

The standard Ch***s box is upstairs and working fine.
The eurovox is downstairs and not working great at all. Did another power scan and it picked up more channels but they are still unwatchable - keep pixelating. It does seem like the signal strength has dropped or something.
Does anyone recommend a particular signal booster?

Try the Eurovox upstairs first. Disconnect the subbed box and try it from that feed as that may be your main incomer. Then you can see if its a cable problem.

Best bet would be to disconnect anything from the line (including splitters etc) and connect the EV to the closest point on the feed i.e. have the EV as close to the main connection as possible with no breaks in between, then do another powerscan and see how that goes...
Are all channels breaking up or just some on any specific TP. if this is the case maybe they have shifted 1 or 2 TP Freq's slightly and you maye able to "fine tune" them by changing slightly i.e say TP was 444.000 maybe 444.500 or 445.000 may pick the Channels up better.
As for the Booster maybe one like this
