I will do a rescan and have a look. A few other people seem to have the same problem in the area, have you come across this before?

Yep, if frequncies have changed an updated CDF for your area will do. But a factory reset and rescan will also work, but may mess up your channel order, if you have it sorted to your preference.
I have also be told that some VM areas now have a channel, saying you "Are Using An Illegal Device". LOL old trick.

Done the scan with no joy, still states "no signal" on same channels as before. Just found the "Are Using An Illegal Device" scared the crap out of me LOL!
Anything else I could try?

Did you do a factory reset before scanning again? If you have and still cannot see your missing channels, change old to new frequencies below then do a manual scan on these frequencies:
OLD 299.000Mhz change to 267.000Mhz
OLD 315.000Mhz change to 283.000Mhz
OLD 307.000Mhz change to 275.000Mhz
If its a Max V it will have autosort, you can turn it off in menu, installation, user installation. Press yellow button and turn it OFF. Do not press OK, press EXIT. Then do a manual scan on each edited frequency. Or just do an update all channels via the red button in user installation.

Menu, config, factory settings. But as said above the Eurovox scans at 8MHz spacing by default, (can be changed) and so you may miss these frequencies. Although give it a try, you may get them but may need to rename them.

Hey guys, strangely my problem with channels skipping has stopped since I tried reinstalling the 18th firmware, I just hope it lasts. o I decided to do a factory reset afetr and scan for all channels and update them. I compared them to an older backup I had and notice I am missing these channels:
Community Channel
Reality TV
Performance
The Hits
Toonami
Anyone know where they are gone? I liked Performance. I'm in Ch**us, Dublin.
Also, Setanta 2 for some reason is found, EPG updates, but it says please insert smart card? Other channels on the same TP are fine?

Hi, Does any one have the Cho*us TP's for Meath, well Navan. Powerscan doesn't pick any up, think the cable is split outside the house or something. Using the Eurovox Max V. I've input some manually but think I'm missing some.
Any help from Navan (Meath) users would be great. Thanks.

Writing in capital letters is 'shouting' and there is no 'phone text' allowed. Also there is no need to beg for info on this site!
What firmware do you have?
To find this press menu, config and system info and you will see your S/W version.

read up on how to do a cdf(channel dump file) for your own channel arrangements, that way if you ever have problems with missing channels, low and behold, their all saved on your desktop to download back on to your box! if your missing sky one your probably missing more so state your area and provider and someone can help you with frequencies.
