the only problem i've had with the tenchi browser other than the security issue..is that sometimes the password sign ons do not work...other than those, i've found it to be helpful when you need to check some sites, when someone is on your comp..but i would highly recommend that you don't stay on for long periods of time..i only use mine when needed..

I can't sign in to ebay with the PSP, everything else works for sign in.
It may be ebay's fault though, because the PSP keeps rejecting the cookies, but cookies are set to allow all right? Right. I am starting to become aware of the fact that ebay is loading more than just cookies to your computer. Since it's the PSP and not a x86 etc OS, the PSP rejects what I believe is spyware attached to the cookies. As with other sign in cookies it may reject them for the same, incresingly questional reason.
It's still a PSP though, it's not like I really care if I can check my ebay with it. Both my e-mails, and all my sites work (college login etc.) so I am damn pleased overall.
I am however not please with ebay...
Fanboy is a term used to describe someone who is utterly devoted to a single subject. This generally is followed by the devotion and support even when proved wrong.
Anecdotal, by my definition, it's the way too many people here think. It's also all the evidence you have.
Xbox 360 GT: NEGATIVE 273K
My advice: Wait for PS3.

dominator,
I have to ask, because this never ceases to amaze me. The specs that are listed in your sigs pic are there for a reason. You are telling everybody that you have a pretty nice gaming rig. Correct? I know for a fact that the system specs you have listed cost you some dough. Not to mention the fact that you own a PS2 and (the main point of this topic) a PSP.
What I have to ask is why you would go out and buy the cheapest router that you can find? If you put so much pride into your gaming systems, why don't you treat them like it. Buy a real router. You bought an (older technology) 802.11b router.
That is the same as putting a 486 DX100 in your new PCI Express system. Or using a 100MB drive in your gaming rig.
I am not trying to pick a fight, just trying to understand why people (not just you) skimp when it comes to their wireless and/or Internet connection.
The same company that you bought the cheap router from has the best router on the market for gaming. http://games.dlink.com/products/?pid=370
I just don't get it. Sorry. I know your X700 was probably $250-300. The router is only $150. Your PSP was $249.

And I mean that the good router is only $150. The one you bought couldn't have been more than $20.

Actually, I can, but that wasn't shallow. I am just interested in figuring out the mindset.
Thanks for asking though.

Okay, way too sensitive people here.
Insulting would be:
Dude what the f**k is wrong with you buying a piece of s**t router like that. Why don't you learn something about networking and buy some real equiment you f*g!
Do you see the difference?
I was asking a simple question and the person it is directed toward hasn't answered. If dominator thinks that I am starting a fight, then I can live with that. But, until I hear from him, I just won't know.

Okay now that is completely uncalled for. I haven't called anybody any names and yet, you call me a asswhole and a dick. You are the one with the problem, not me. I am trying to determine why somebody would not buy a nice router to go with their nice system and it is you who are picking a fight.
If you are not mature enough to engage in a simple debate about a simple topic, without flying into a name calling rant, just ignore me. It is that simple.
If dominator does not want to discuss it or give me an answer, I will let it go. Why, because I am not all uptight like you.
Now, for some reason you (who I was not asking the question to) have gotten yourself all bent for no reason. Take a deep breath, calm down, play some Luminies and be happy man.

You call that intellectual talk. I didn't even use any big words. Why because I am not trying to talk down to anyone or seem better than anyone. I hate people that do that.

Sounds good. Have a good weekend.
I'm gonna go mess around with version 2.00. I like it so far. I own two PSPs, so I can homebrew and update. I like the new web browser better than the other homebrews, due to the fact that you can down load images and music straight to the PHOTO and MUSIC folders, then view/listen to them right away. An image on the Internet can be made into your wallpaper in a matter of seconds. GOod stuff.

Yo! Hello there!
Well SpudgeBoy no i didnt get affended at all, in fact more it was like a compliment to here that the rest of my machine, not the router, is pretty good still. And solargame thanks alot for defending. Yea i bought that one wireless router, which was 40 euros, cuz i simply dont need any better. I baught a better one first, which was twice more expensive, took it home used for about 3 hours, then i realized that i dont need it at all and i went to the store and changed it to a simplier one. I mean 11mbps is more then enough for the psp and well enough for my girlfriend's laptop. There is no point in spending cash on stuff u dont really need, thats why i still got no palm just cuz i dont really need it.
OffTopic: Now suggest how to kill a hangover..? /:)

Hey dominator,
Glad you didn't take offense. I just see that a lot when people build nice systems and have the worst router available. I can tell you that a simple $30 (sorry, don't know Euro equivalent) 6dbi omni directional antenna will kick up your wireless signal to cover your house. Your D-Link router should have a reverse SMA connector where the antenna connects. You just need to find an antenna that has that kind of pig tail.
The best way I have found of getting rid of a hang over is to have some ablondigus soup. This is a Mexican meatball soup. Problem is that I can see that you are using Euros, which means you're probably nowhere near Meixco. Second best way I have found to get rid of a hang over is to have a little hair of the dog and some spicy food.
Peace!

Hey localsly,
From what I have tried and read, you transfer photos via the infra red port. That means the tops of the two PSPs need to be facing each other. Of course, infra red is slower than the wireless and USB, but it is still a pretty cool feature.
Now I need to cure a hang over. I am gonna go get some soup.

xXxBG,
If you own a Linksys router, the SSID is "linksys" If you own a D-Link, it is "default" and if you own a Netgear, it is (as solargame pointed out) "netgear" solargame, can you confirm that it is all capitols in "NETGEAR" I am more familiar with the Linksys and D-Link brands.
When you do a site survey (read Scan), you will see your access point/ router. Make sure your wireless switch is on and I highly recommend that you turn off Wireless Power Saving. You will burn up your battery faster, but you will have a better signal strength.
