lol, its hard to be modest about FiOs. I can download things and start the CD burning process at the same time*! (i've gotten stable 2700kb/sec)
*i dont advise it tho, but its possible. and only on download processes that use a dummy file, like bittorrent
@handsom, "a bit extreme" i like that
XBOX v1.0 X2 80GB XBMC pwns j00 || XBOX v1.6 nDUREs Softmods 120GB + HD
Xbox360 Samsung ms25 Xtreme 3.0 + 111d
PS2 v7 scph39001 Matrix Infinity GD
forGET the swap magic and hdloader!!! if you want convenience and have it 100% working, get a modchip.

$45 a month, same as cable providers in the area that provide a fraction of the speed.
setup is easy, a verizon guy will come do it.... oh yeh they insist on using one of their routers as the main gateway, but don't worry, its a Dlink of some sort, no extra charge.

Hmm, I will have to take a look at THAT.
And what did you say was the speed up/down? I was happy to be getting a 9mbps downspeed from cox, but it sounds like verizon is even cheaper.

I have to throw this out there. Satellite has bad ping, witch is bad for gaming. Back when it came out it was 100$ for a 256k but at the same time you had to use phone lines to upload so it was more like 256k down /52k up. But a year ago i heard or read that the tec. for satellite is getting better.

On the secret leaked webpages at Nintendo there was a page about online play and friend codes. There will be a free online network for Wii similar to what the DS has now.

I think it's false, because the DS and the GCN have online gameplay.
So, obviously, it wouldn't be the first time in nintendo history.
But it has online gameplay.
