Try to rip other discs. If it persists, then you'll want to make sure your firmware is up to date as well as your ASPI drivers.

Yeah. You can set DVD Decrypter to ignore read errors, but it's still pretty picky. Try ripping something else and see what happens.

Lol, that's one question Dan that I will not answer anymore. It shows a complete lack of searching and effort. That question is answered 1,000 times, is in the stickies, and can be found anywhere in the console forums.
@Virus Glad you got it working. There are plenty of other DVD Decrypter guides, but I felt some of them were lacking in area or another, or they didn't explain booktyping. I wanted to create simple step by step guides with pics that explained booktyping. Glad you like it.

lol, all the stickies here, people tend to skip the big long list of FAQs and go straight to reading the one about copying games, only to find that they needed to know more before they jumped the gun... going to edit the first post now :)

Hey guys....great info but I ran into a little problem. Once I dycrypt the ps2 game (God of War) using DVD Decryptor it does save two files to my hardrive. The problem come when I try to write this to disk (Verbatim DVD-R 4.7GB) using DVD Decryptor. I get a message saying:
"There doesn't appear to be enough space on the disc to burn this image
Image size: 4,161,520 Sectors
Disk size: 2,298,496
Would you like to continue anyway?"
If I click yes....I get an error message and it won't work.
Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.
p.s. I am using an LG burner that it fairly new so I do not think that is the problem.
Thanx a lot.

Yeah I looked at that thread but that will not work for me as the size of my file is bigger than my disk can hold. Any links would be helpful.

Why is your disk size that small?? a normal DVD-R is a lot bigger than that

Yeah, that is what it said but the actual image file is 7.93GB. It did mention something about "Sectors" which I am not too sure about. I tried a few different blank dvd's but none worked.....I keep getting the same message.

Does anyone know where I could find the SONIX God of War Tool? I cannot seem to find it anywhere, and the link to his site is no longer working. Any help would be great. Thanks.
