it should be in the same download file as the game manager. Look for a folder called "loader", and when you double click that you will see two folders: CF and SD. Go in the appropriate folder and you will find a file called update.e26 or something like that.. and stick that in the root of your SD/CF card (copy paste, do not use game manager for it)

I have just bought a brand new DS and a m3 sd micro and a passcard 3. But I get white screens on several games mostly mario or nintendo games. I think they have done something to these new ds lites, do I need a file on my sd card for the passcard 3 to work right? Any ideas? Thank you, dirk mcwhirter.

First thing you should do is upgrade your M3 firmware to the latest (currently v27a) and transfer you problem games again.
If you are still having problems try using the Normal Load setting for games under 32MB.
EDIT: And install the latest v27a Gamemanager on your computer.

Just to let everyone know I have just updated my guide.
I have changed an error where www.winsunx.com was written wwww.winsunx.com
Changed latest firmware from v22 to v27a
Added info on the 'Force R/W' found in v26 onwards when using games from the scene over number 0530.
Added http://www.realhotstuff.com/ as a site to purchase from.

cool, great update! i'd say add a few more well known stores on there, like getyourgameshere.com and gamersection.ca. maybe even modchipstore.com?

I've only listed stores that either my friends or I have used, or that I have seen repeatedly mentioned in this DS forum (realhotstuff).
I do know of places such as modchipstore, but I have not used them, nor have they beeen recommended much for DS homebrew.

at divineo they have another storage device promoting that supposedly does not need any of that passcard and/or m3 utility.

Its 4Gbit - meaning 512 Megabytes. Same as a G6 Lite. You can hold a decent amount of games on there, probably about 6 depending on the sizes

This has been mentioned before in the forums, it is a DS slot device, 4Gb should be enough for about 6-12 games depending on game size, it apparently is very good with homebrew support, which in my eyes is very good. i don't think I will be getting one anytime soon as I still play the odd GBA game every now and then.

Both the M3 the guide is for, and the the above mentioned DS-X can play DS games.

Rather this wasn't posted in this thread as thats a supercard and this an M3 thread, but yes, that is all you need, you might have to update the supercards softwrae before it works with NDS files though.
