Hi,
I have a DSI with firmwire 1.4E, and i have one R4 upgradable www.r4sdhc.com but now the site isn't go, i have insert diferents kernels in the 4Gb Sd but in the dsi apears "there are a problem turn of the console"
There are anybody who knows what can i do?

OK SO I HAVE A PROBLEM MY DS WAS WORKING FINE BUT NOW WHEN I WANNA ADD MORE GAMES MY COMPUTER SAYS CANNOT DETECT THE DS CHIP...??? WAT DO I DO :S

My problem:
NDSi, new this christmas. Came with v1.4E already on.

Downloaded latest firmware from [url=http://www.r4i-sdhc.com/downloade.asp][/url] as it says on the box.
Extracted the files to a 16gb card. I see the icon in the menu when the R4i is inserted. But when i open it up all i get is a black screen with white writing saying 'An error has occurred. Press and hold the POWER Button to turn the system off. Please refer to the Nintendo DSi Operations Manual for details.
Tried a smaller 2gb card with the same results.
Any ideas?

yeah i'm having problems with downloading the software too, sorry i wasn't able to help you though.My uncle was going to send me the software him self.I was kind of confused by what you wanted. ^^;

this is the url the coolest dude in the world gave me (puggwash) and it worked amazingly for me. hope it does for you lot as well,
btw how do you get your rank on this forum higher. I hope i get it higher for helping all u lot!
All i did is extract this and then copy and paste everything from this to my sd card. it is around 89mb i think.

Hi, another virgin with a problem! I got two Revolution R4i - SDHC for DS V1.4 cards for my two son's new DSi Christmas presents. I formatted both Kingston 2Gb micro sd cards as per instructions given and copied software R4i English V1.14b which included

I then copied over some games. Neither card works fully, one will play one game but not the other and vice versa. Some games have a green icon to start a game on one DSi but not the other, some games both have green icon that will work on one DSi but not the other? For different games, one will load but the other gets a loading screen that goes nowhere?
I would appreciate any help given.

All you out there who are having trouble, send a private message to me explaining the issue and I will see what can be done.
Those who have a DSi, there are a variety of firmwares out there that do nothing but cause grief on your DS. be careful. All mine are tested and work but depending on what Sd card you have, size and what R4 you bought.
I will help anyone and it does not cost a penny. All I ask is to be patient with the help as it may not come straight away.

An update on my R4i sdhc v1.4 (www.r4i-sdhc.com red box) & DSi running v1.4E.
Tried the card in a DS lite and it works fine!
But still no joy on the DSi, just a black screen with an error code.

Hi i bought new dsi's for kids for xmas and couldnt get it sorted i have the gold r4i, and nthe dsi's are 1.4 asked pugg for help and he got it sorted,

If any of you are having issues with the R4i Ultra I have came across a forum with the following info. I have not managed to try it yet, as can get my hand on a dsl.

To enable your R4i Ultra to work on a DSi console with v1.4 firmware, you first need an old DS or DS Lite, or a DSi console that is running v1.3 firmware or lower, download the 1.4 fix here, Copy the .nds file onto your MicroSD card and boot into the R4i Ultra, from the menu load the 1.4 update .nds file you copied to the MicroSD card, it will update your R4i Ultra, once complete the card will now work in a DSi with 1.4 firmware. Note this does not work with R4i SDHC and the others, this is only for the original R4i Ultra cards.
If any of you have had it work please let me know.

Please help puggwash i cannot get this to work !!! I have tried to download the correct firmware etc but it still wont work :( It was a christmas present for my niece

They are the new versions and need new software follow these instructions
Follow these instructions
1. Downloaded the english software from http://www.ds-gaming.co.uk/downloads.asp
2. Download the R4SDHC version 1.27
3. Then i saved it to computer.
4. Then extract the files by clicking on extract all.
5. Then copy all the files across to the sd card (which should be in the usb adapter).
6. Done.
i had to get in contact with card company as a few of the bulk i bought didnt work this is new software which does work on thhe cards the other one didnt hope it helps xxxx

Pab or anyone out there having problems,
Send me a private message and I will assist where possible to get your DS up and running and hopefully have the Kids or the wife or Girl/Boyfriends off your back.

I bough R4i gold and trying to make this work for the last 4 days and I have tried all the options available but nothing seems to be working. I will appreciate if someone can help me. Here are the details
1) Console - DSi - Ver 1.4U- Bought during Black Friday - This has 5 pre-insatlled game as described in http://www.amazon.com/Nintendo-DSi-Bundle-White-DS/dp/B002S5PKXW
2) R4 Type - I bought from http://www.r4ds-r4i.com/products/R4i-Revolution-for-DSi-Gold.html -- I have R4i Gold - The logo on the Cartridge has website mentioned http://www.r4ids.com/
3) Kernel - I donwloaded the latest kernel from http://www.r4ids.com/ (R4i v1.30 ENGLISH) from http://r4i653327.user.d-jet.com/download/soft/ENGLISH.rar
3) SD card - I used Sandisk 512MB as well as Kingston 4GB - The same result.
4) The probelm - I can see all the directory structure and even the game name that I want to play but when I go to play those games I get this error immediately <Application halted !!
