but the game downloads slow "20kb/s" maan why is that any any way to speed it up??? lol

Yeah my friend loaned me his old Sony external burner. I'm dling Dragon Quest VIII right now. Now I can see if all the advise I give people actually works, lol. I also sent my PS2 off the other day to get modded with a DMS 4 Pro. I'm sure you hate it since your a Matrix guy lol.

Well I did give him a copy of Breaker Pro and a slide card, show him how to burn PS2 games, and told him about Swap Magic, but yeah it was still hella nice of him.

I bought it, but it arrived horribly scratched, so the site sent me another one. A burned copy of Breaker Pro is pretty useless, you can only boot it with a modchip or original copy, and perhaps a MC exploit. I think I read in an old post you had a modbo, or am I mistaken?

Good deal. The good version from what I've heard. The 1.50 and 1.54 firmware upgrades seemed to have caused some people problems when flashing, the main reason I decided on the DMS 4 Pro. Matrix supports the PS2 media player, right? I don't think the DMS 4 Pro does. Other than that, they boot auto boot everything, and that's what makes them the best. Why do you need Breaker Pro with a modchip, were there certain PSX games that you couldn't boot?

Oh. Yeah I got a copy of it off Limewire, I don't think it was correct though, the file was a 1GB unpacked. I don't think the DMS 4 Pro supports the PS2 media player. I don't know if it supports any form of media player. Doesn't matter to me anyway, the PS2 is a low end DVD player. My POS Aspire plays most things great.

Well with a modchip, we should be able to watch DVD's from any region. Sounds good, but the PS2 isn't a great DVD player.

Yeah same with me. I have an arse load of Bootlegged anime and my $40 Aspire DVD player plays it without any problems. If you're interested in GOOD anime, check out RahXephon, Berserk, or Escaflowne.

Yeah I had AOHell for years and just got DSL in May. I'm so used to it now, there's no way I would ever go back to dial up. God damn, downloading anything with dial up takes forever. If you can afford it and it's available in your area, you should definitely look into getting hi speed. Jeez downloading a PS2 game with dial up must take at least a week or two, or do you just rent games and copy them?
