Do you ever post anything that doesn't bash the PSP? We get it you don't like, you have stated that on countless occasions, and that's fine. Everyone is emtitled to their opinion but why do you find it so neccesary to put the PSP down every chance you get? Does it bother you that much that there are people in the world who don't agree with you? If it does you should probably avoid PSP forms. I like the PSP, the DS is good in its own right as well but I prefer the PSP as do many other people in the world, why can you not drop this stupid topic of PSP vs. DS. These posts are pointless and don't help anyone. Who cares who likes what as long as each person is happy with what they have.

Wat im trying to do is educate people on the massive mistake they're commiting. I'm doing people a favor by educating them on what to buy. And If I'm such an idiot how come you said ds has n64 graphics? Compare them, retard. I bet you can't, because you can't tell the difference. You're retarded. You're just mad the numbers tell the truth.
I'm just trying to end the handheld wars once and for all with the result of DS being the winner. I'm trying to convince people that the DS is better. Aren't I entitled to my opinion? So either flame me or deal with my opinion and the facts I bring to back it up. I'm flaming a console and the posters above take it personal? Oh my...
PSP is good for it's other features, but the DS more worth it's cash. I really don't like when people commit the common mistake of buying one. If you take my flaming the psp so personal, don't even bother replying. I could hear anyone saying anything about the game-cube and I dont flame them personally. I flame their favorite console and then I use proof. It made me feel like crap when sony ripped my friend off. Guess who reccomended he buy the psp? Me....
So that's why I loathe that system and it's makers, not the people who defend it.

bbirdXP why dont you go back and play pokemon with the rest of the kiddies. leave your opinion to yourself. just remember opinions are like buttholes everyone has one. that should get you through life. Life is too short to complain and be grumpy. If you dont like it dont buy it. Maybe you bash becuase you cant afford a psp, or maybe mommy wont let you have one becuase of the m rated games. your one opinion will not stop sells. hell if i let peoples opinions affect me i would have absoultly nothing. There will always be someone that is going to complain about something. cant make everyone happy. so take life to the fullest and keep playin pokemon....

Yes I'll play pokemon AND an extra game for the price of 1 psp game. B-sides, pokemon is addicting. You're probably thinking about the anime or toys when you say pokemon. Just because is game is rated E doesn't mean a child can master it. I bet if they made a console "Sudoku" puzzle game version of the weekly newspaper puzzle and rated it "E" doesn't mean a kid could hone it.
Watch, you'll see that pokemon games even beat psp games in ratings. OMG I wonder how a kid's game could beat GTA. Go back to pokemon RED for the gb and look at it's rating on gamespot. OMG IT BEATS GTA!!!!!!!!
Soo, you can play your boring and mediocre "adult" games, while I play the "childish" pokemon and have a more enjoyable time doing it.
So instead of buying a 60$ GTA, buy a $19.99 pokemon red and have more gameplay experience.
See, you don't like when I bash the psp that way. GTA is an honorable game. Pokemon has made it to status of legendary due to the money it raked in. Can we leave the DS kiddy jokes at that?

Im sorry but bbirdXP youve got it all wrong COMPLETELY wrong ok we all know the ds is good to sum extent but "EVERYONE" knows that the psp is the superior machine there is no way ds could ever compete with the graphics of the psp. and to prove it search the internet and youl see that the psp is far morevpopular with the public and has sold more machines already than the ds which has been out longer!! so now we really know the best machine PSP!

Where'd you get your info? DS is still on top both game sale wise and by unit sales. I dare you to convince me on buying the psp. If you Do I'll insult myself publicly and say your superior name on the streets. The U.K. is the only place where psp reigns supreme. "OMG SUPERIOR MACHINE". So I bet you'd rather have the x-box 360 and not even THINK about the ps3 just because it indeed is graphicly superior. See, you're just another fanboy like me, except with idiotic facts. OF COURSE PSP is more popular, it's got people like you drooling all over it. People who don't take the time to research. I defend the ds by opening people's eyes.

i no why you defend the DS so much because your a silly fool who brought one and then when the PSP came out you didnt have the money to buy one so instead of looking stupid you tried to defend the DS so you could save money!

You call that persuasion? I could've just as easily have said, "Deep down, you know the DS is better." Looks like the entire UK is completely blind then. Go to any games rating site and compare ratings. I have yet to see a source for your so-called facts. "We have more sense to see tht the psp is the SUPERIOR MACHINE." You calling Americans stupid? Senseless? Still I don't think you'll buy anyone over by just being "cute" like that. Keep trying to crack me, I'm F**king lead.
P.S. Your assumption about me having a DS is incorrect. I have yet to buy one. Yet i've been arguing with my dad to not buy me a psp. I'm freekin serious here. Remember.. don't make assumptions.
As an English teacher I had, said: "When you make an assumption, you make an ASS out of U and ME... ASSUME

Quote: Both portables have bright futures ahead of them, as far as I'm concerned. The War of the Portables may be the best thing that's ever happened to handheld players. Competition will bring new standards, rising quality will keep the players captured, and an invigorated fanbase will encourage rivalry and, thus, more competition. My money is on the PSP -- and not just my joking "bet money", but my actual cash as soon as possible when we find out from Sony what the price is. It's the gold standard of handhelds. But Sony really has to use all of the magic tricks in its bag to make sure that this gold still glitters with new, must-own gaming experiences in the months after -- it's never the gold that keeps them married to you, but the heart that it reflects.

You're digging your own gravesite idiot! When you say "The world" Thinks the psp's better, why haven't you remembered that time after time when you've seen a DS fanboy, you notice how they keep talking about how the DS is OWNING the psp in sales WORLDWIDE! Apparently, the world thought the psp was better but they bought the DS because of nintendo's cunning (yet entirely fictional) brainwashing tactics.

Quote: Our individual picks:
Craig: DS.You know, I don't play handhelds to get the console experience on the go. I play them to get an experience I don't get on the consoles...and it seems to me that all the PSP is going to do is offer up some PS2 quality games in a handheld. I want something significantly different in my gaming, and that's why I'm totally stoked for the Nintendo DS system. Bring on the dual-screen, touchscreen gaming.
Nix: PSP. With the Nintendo DS, I can smell something good in the kitchen, but with the PlayStation Portable, I can taste it. This is the portable system that gamers have been waiting all along for, ever since the PlayStation burst on the scene and pushed the business to where it is now. The console biz is reaching a saturation point, and PSP would be a great overflow for talented works to get their due. DS will be quite cool and quite different, but Nintendo's approach just doesn't seem to have the oomph to push it gamers to it, whereas Sony is sitting at the wheel of a bulldozer. As long as they don't grind their gears out...
Jeremy: PSP. Truth be told, I'm not a big handheld gamer and probably never will be. The most work I've gotten out of my GBA, for example, is on my GameCube thanks to the Player. But when it comes down to it, I'd give the edge to the PSP as the one I'm looking forward to most. While it may get its ass kicked in the beginning, I think Sony will support it a lot longer than Nintendo will support the DS and have a much stronger second generation of software than the DS's second and third combined. Pretty important stuff -- if I ever play 'em longer than my PS3, Revolution, and Xenon.
Hilary: PSP. I pick the PSP simply because I know what I'm gonna get from it. I'm not expecting a gameplay revolution, but I already know it's just gonna be a pocket PS2. The DS is still a mystery to me. Do I want dual screens? Are the games using touch screen something that I'm personally going to enjoy? I don't know. I'm curious, for certain, but not convinced that the DS is going to be the type of handheld I'm going to enjoy. .
David: PSP.Two screens is nifty but I'm more excited about the possibility of listening to some tunes or watching a movie on my gaming device. I'm hopeful that Sony will be able to produce a bite-sized super system that fulfills all of my portable media needs. I'm also hopeful that I will have enough dough to afford it.
Again people saying psp is better! nothing new there though

I've read that article wolfwood. That article was posted around early 2004. During the initial launch of the PSP and DS. Hmmm looks like the psp has not advanced since that point.

Did graphics matter when you played any of the streetfighter games, or final fantasy 7 which by today's standards, would have nintendo Ds graphics. There are more but I'm too lazy to list them all. If you haven't played any of those games, and say they're whack, prepare to get flamed. Graphics are great eye candy, but that's it. Lets not make a psp vs ds poll in this forum because it would be the same as going to a nintendo forum and putting the same poll there. Why I'm posting my praises toward the Ds in this forum is so some unlucky schmo doesn't accidentally find this forum and think the psp is better. THE END, you failed to scratch the lead let alone crack it. Deposit another quarter and try again....
Conclusion: (Same as elsewhere) Psp is good as a replacement video i-pod/ps2 while The DS is a better GAMES system entirely.

Where do those ratings come from?
And let me explain something. Ratings(in general) are given by how good the game is on that particular console, if mario kart DS was realesed on lets say the xbox, it would probably get a score of 2 because the xbox can do much better, if it was realesed on the psp it would get 9 at best, most probably lower.I have a DS and a PSP and I personally like the PSP better.
You are reading a mindless signature, please stop reading it now it is mindless, one can only presume you are mindless since you are still reading this mindless signature, Oh my god get a life you mindless person, whats the matter with you, dont you have a girlfreind? mindless mindless mindless

Nintendo seems to be using more technology than the psp. I'm sure it was harder to make the DS screen a touch screen than making the psp screen a widescreen hd. For The Ds you probably had to sync the stylus movements with the screen reception while all they did for the psp is beef up graphics. OOh wow. The games mentioned above are still great and will forever be great for those who haven't played them yet. Speaking of re-playing things, all psp comes out with are ports or port-ish sequels to console games. That's exactly like replaying your ps2 favorites. After repeated use, everything becomes boring.
