acually bird boy can emulate NES SNES GBA and there still working on N64
psp kicks ass bird boy so go have a cry and through away that usless peice of plop i wouldnt even use for toilet yet (ds sucks compared to psp)

I never said you couldn't emulate the nes snes and advance. Now there's a real fanboy. Take the example from the poster above, of what a real fanboy sounds like. When you say THEY'RE still working on emulating the n64; who do you imply when you say "THEY'RE"? The random people who do things. The people who make things happen? No one is working on emulating the n64 on psp. CASE truly closed. See how the primitive human just called me bird-boy. I'll ignore that, for the time being.

man I've been reading about this crap for too long now, and all i've got to say is who the f**k CARES!! This guy's over here saying he's trying to educate people on what system is better, you're not doing anything except proving what big of a nerd you are. I had a psp and i loved it but i sold it due to the fact that nobody except one person where i live had one and i didn't fancy the games too much. I'll admit that the ds has more games that are funner to play than the psp has but that lineup of psp games you showed didn't look too bad to me. You called the psp pathetic why? cuz you told your friend to buy one and he wasn't smart enough to do some research beforehand so you vowed to put the psp down at every turn to "educate" people what a joke. The psp is an amazing handheld just because of everything it does. Instead of just thinking about "that doesn't look like ps2" Think about how can they do that on that small system. The ds is not a bad handheld and for the price it's worth it but i was able to do more stuff with the psp and that's why i got it do i regret it? hell no, I had some great games at my disposal and i loved showing my friends videos and listening to music on the subway.
I agree with what leftear said if you do not like it then don't buy it. You were not happy with the psp so now you're getting a ds. Some people love the psp and others love the ds there's no reason to become a big nerd about it. The psp is not looking too bad on games right now especially the ones you showed here and in my opinion I prefer to play socom online than nintendogs. It's all about how you look at things like how you prefer to play pokemon than GTA, People have different tastes you shouldn't bash them for it.
By the way just out of curiosity what game did your friend get for psp that was so horrible that caused this hatred.

Cmon why argue for nintendo ds when it can barely do a thing than PSP can do, besides wireless and playing Games PSP= Range Of Games! DS= Mario, Kirby, Pokemon, Zelda and other boring babys games!! I mean Nintendogs I'd Come up with PSP panthers to destroy fricken nintendogs! and besides who needs crap like that when u can buy A REAL PET!, nintendo cant go on the internet and the wireless gaming is crap only reaching up to 30 to 100 feet, i mean how many people within that range will always be online and have the wireless software and hardware (stupid) so i vote for PSP for its all over brilliance and its power of an ipod!

well if u like games that are aged at 1-5 year olds get the ds(or if your retarded like bbirdxp), but if u like big boy games with awasome graphics and gameplay get the psp. Its a must have gadget as it does so much. i own the ds and psp, when i 1st got the ds on its launch i thought it was ok but gave it to my little sister (aged 5) and she uses it alot more than i did or wud.The ds is easy doesnt make u think and they r all cartoon games, the ds would b good.........about 3 years ago.

So you all are saying that the PSP is better than the DS merely because of the graphics? I think HDTV has better graphics than a PSP, but I'd rather play games on a PSP than watch crystal clear TV. Just because the graphics are better doesn't mean it makes the games better. FYI, I don't even own or plan on buying a PSP OR DS. Just my honest opinion on the matter.

I'm hearing all this from a group of psp lovers. Next lets ask the homosexual down the street if gay marriage should be legalized! I'm sure to hear a very unbiased response. Tell me how Animal Crossing got a 9.2 Reader average and GTA got a 9.1 on IGN not gamespot! HA DS games own Even by .1 on other game review sites! Sales are the major proof of a better product. It's common sense. Now when some one argues my opinion, it's understandable, but when people argue common sense!? That's the spread of the PSP fanboy plague. It's true, the DS has childish LOOKING games. I very much still rather have animal crossing be with colorful animals. Let's say, instead of animals, it were Generic men in white. The game's appeal is tarnished! Since when was mario kiddy. It's true nintendo's milking him but He's like their main main mascot. To abandon Mario would be a crime! I would highly respect the idea that saved my company (If I had one) for many years. The same way nintendo respected Mario.
You guys keep bringing the same stuff out. Psp is better graphicly. DUhhhhhhhhhhhh.... but does that make it a better games system? NOOOOOOOOoooooo..... DS is better for gaming, gameplay and an utmost enjoyment while you play.
DS GAMES ARE GAME'S YOU'LL ACTUALLY WANT TO PLAT AT HOME! NOT JUST DURING A LONG PLANE FLIGHT LIKE THE PSP.
If the "touch screen" gimmick doesn't appeal to you. Who said it did!? That doesn't make the difference. Most of the DS's games dont use the touch screen avidly. Psp's games are ok. DS's games are wonderful. It's like the difference between a 78% test score and a 95% test score. You can get by with a 78% but it would be much better to have a 95%. Same goes for the psp and the DS's games.
P.S. I must be incredibly persuasive if half the forum came to this thread overnight just to insult me. X]

well i think they had more sales because the console on the hole is 4 children and retards (bbirdxp), who enjoy simple games for the mindless. And children want them and they r CHEAP so thier parents will buy them. And people would have bought it bcoz people like u saying thier ace blah blah and they r cheap so people bought them , i bought it and was very dissapointed and gave it to my sister as i sed. the also havent got the looks and looks boring (as the console is boring) and it looks cheap and tacky. and WOW touchscreen woopty dooo.

I honestly don't see why any of you care what bbird has to say, cause really and truly this topic and the other 3 or 4 like it in the last week are retarded and I am getting sick of seeing them at the top of the list when I come here, they serve no purpose whatsoever. Nuttin_88 thank you for seeing my point, who gives a flying rat's A$$ about what is better. I wish the rest of you would because see that other peoples opinions don't mean anything. All this does is make these forums useless in comparison to other ones that try to further the PSP community, and bbird you should probably be trying to help the DS community since you have done your research and know your shit when it comes to the DS. I just don't understand why you feel it is more important to start fights with PSP owners. You need to accept that the people on this forum are happy with their PSP's and no matter what you say you probably aren't going to change their minds, especially since you are being an idiot about this whole thing. It's not like people buying a PSP is hurtning you, and it's not like it is your money so there is really nothing for you to be mad about. You like the DS so you bought, good for you there are some fun games out for it, but there are also good games for the PSP. I'm not saying one systems games are better than the other it all comes down to personal preference. So buy what you like and don't care what people think because stupid topics like this are retarded and help no one.
And on a closing note a N64 emulator is probably not going to be coming out on the PSP because the PSP is not nearly powerful enough to emulate the system. A PSP can barely emulate the GBA and a PSOne emulator runs at like 5fps or slower so I wouldn't hold your breath for a N64 one. Just a heads up.

But no one here seems to know anything other than "psp has better graphics and multimedai functions." Enjoy your crappy psp. While I even moreso enjoy my DS if I get it this X-mas.
DONT LIE. WE can all agree that we enjoyed pokemon at one point. It still delivers quite the rpg experience. As for the other pokemon games and crap nintendo's pushing.... eh i can't say the same. Calling pkmn a waste of time really doesn't prove your point, as the same could be said for any other video-game in the universe.

Okay, I just wasted about 15 mins of my life reading this thread... What is the deal? When the playstation launched, did you just buy a playstation? When the PS2, lauched, did you just not buy any other system? No, we all have come to apprecite what every system has to offer. Titles from playstation, nintendo, and xbox are legendary by their own right. Why in the world is it so important to bicker over which is better? All in all, I love nintendo. They release timeless games. However, the psp allows me to play every game I ever loved while I was growing up. I can play all the FF's, Megaman's, Pokemons, CronoTriggers, Marios, etc. That totally rocks. Truth be told, i have not even purchased a PSP game yet. Also, the psp allows me to do some crazy stuff, like watch movies, run linux, use it as a remote control for my tv(or so I have read), etc. It is totally versitle.
So, to sum up, get what you like. If you are a person who is a legacy gamer who does not mind tinkering with electronics, buy a psp. You will not be disappointed. If you like timeless games that are lots of fun due to their simplicity (which is not always simple to create btw) by a DS. I can't stand ranting and flaming on a forum. If you have info, post it, with some comments. Just don't waste my time by making me dig through the crap.
BTW, name calling? Really, I would hope that we are past that stage. It is better to be considered a fool and be silent then open your mouth and remove all doubt. Just my thoughts.
