I followed the steps and downloaded via D_A's site. but all I get on my xmb is a corrupted data icon. my kernel is set to 3.80 so i guess i'm putting it on the right folder which is X:/psp/game... i just don't know where to go from here...
Same with me... Can't update because I also see the corrupted data icon... I dumped all files from DAX's site in /psp/game/update and placed the 150.pbp in root dir...
EDIT: Just create a folder named "GAME380" in X:/psp/ and put the files from D_A's site there... Got it working already

Did I have to install 1.50 kernel again when updated to 3.80 M33? I already install it when I'm in 3.71 M33.
My Phat PSP History : 1.50 > 3.40 OE-A > 3.52 M33-4 > 3.71 M33-2 (semi-bricked) > 1.50 (Recovered) > 3.40 OE-A > 3.52 M33-4 > 3.71 M33-4 > 3.80 M33-2 > 3.80 M33-5 > 3.90 M33-2 + 1.50 Subset.

yes you need to install the one for 3.80m33 as they are different
@smak681 have you tried putting a umd in, or you can try this press select whilst in the xmb now change the umd mode to m33 driver

What's the error code?
It is possible that you don't have a UMD or you placed the files in the wrong folder...

Yes you're right. I have a umd in the psp but it is not reading it. Is there any reason why the psp doesnt read my umd? It is a demo umd. And is that why i cant load the update?

Just updated a bricked PSP last night. In the process I backed up the NAND from the menu on Pandora's Battery. While it was writing the file it reported several "BAD BLOCKS" is this something that will cause a problem? The PSP seems to work fine but it gives an error if I try to Restore Default Settings. The Guide was flawless Thanks
