Hi guys. Newb here.
I just want to ask something because I can't upgrade my PSP to 3.52 M33 :(
I followed these steps:
Installation for an OE/M33 firmware
Installing 3.52 Custom Firmware on an OE or a M33 PSP:
o Copy the folder 'M33CREATOR' to the directory; 'X:/PSP/GAME150/' on your PSP's memory stick.
o Download the official 3.52 update: http://www.psp-hacks.com/file/1209 and rename to 352.PBP.
o Copy the 352.PBP to the directory; 'X:/PSP/GAME150/M33CREATOR/' on your PSP's memory stick.
o Download the official 1.50 update: http://rapidshare.com/files/67857715/163_EBOOT_1.50.zip and rename to 150.PBP.
o Copy the 150.PBP to the directory; 'X:/PSP/GAME150/M33CREATOR/' on your PSP's memory stick.
o Execute '3.52 M33 CREATOR' under GAME on your PSP.
o Then execute '3.52 M33UPDATE' under GAME on your PSP.
o Once finished, press X.
I currently have a 3.51 M33-7. I got my files from psp-hacks and dark alex. But, when I execute '3.52 M33 CREATOR' I get stuck in this part:
3.52 M33 FIRMWARE CREATOR
Loading 1.50 firmware... OK.
Writing 1.50 firmware... OK.
Loading 3.52 firmware... OK.
Writing 3.52 firmware...
STUCK! :( It's taking such a long time (40+ mins.?) before I turned my PSP off. Then, I see a corrupted data in the GAME in my XMB. I downloaded different 150, 352 and M33CREATOR files from different sites and I still get stuck in this part. :( Could anyone help me out? Thanks very much in advance.

Please wait...
For about 20 mins. What am I doing wrong? I have 100% battery and it's plugged in. I don't know if I'm on kernel 3.52 because that menu doesn't come up when I hold R while turning my PSP on.
Help me!

Retry, from what I have read and done myself, it should not take that long. If it happens again try remaking your stick and check that its an original and not a fake as some fakes can cause problems.

Do you have a UMD in the PSP? If not try it with one in, if that doesnt work try changing the settings in the recovery menu to NO UMD!

Tried it again and same problem. It isn't fake because it came with the PSP (giga pack). What's this about remaking my memory stick? Deleting everything?

I would format the MS and reinstall the 390M33-2 files and if it still doesnt work try going to 371M33-4 first?
Also is your MS big enough? 256mb minimum?

Hi guys... first of all.. ima complete noob at this.. I have absolutely no idea what to do... so please just point me in the right direction, and explain like you would to a 5yr old.
I have a new PSP Slim (it says 2004 on the box...incase thats important) the the System Software version is 3.72 ( i have no idea what OE, or M33 is)
this PSP was bought from Dubai duty free, if that helps also..
I tried to read through most of this topic, but i dont understand alot, and i really want to be able to play games from my memory card.
I noticed somewhere it said to see the BIOS version, I need to hold the right shoulder button while the PSP is turning on... I have tried this alot of times, but nothing happens.
please send a complete noob in the right direction.

Hi all,
This is my first post so please go easy on me :P
I recently upgrade to 3.90 m33-2 with 1.50 kernel after following all the instructions (I have an original 1.5 machine btw)
The problem I seem to have is that a lot of my "backups" don't seem to work but worse the whole menu system seems to be terribly slow which is also effecting playing the games as these too are running slow.
Anyone else experienced this? Have I done something wrong?
Thanking you in advance.

Yep :)
Many people who have upgraded their PSP to 3.90m33 are experiencing this problem :)
Install the "Fatmsmod" patch :)
Download it from HERE
You'll need to get the "fatmsmod.prx" from the 3.71 firmware :)
Also, see the "readme.txt" included in that download :)

Try putting the AC adapter in the PSP and execute the program :)

hey guys, it was stuck on writing 3.52 firmware for over an hour, but eventually it completed - i read on another forum that that stage took up to 4 hours to complete for some people. bear in mind, i didnt have my ac adapter plugged in at the time, and still didn t when it completed, so maybe having it plugged in makes it go faster?
im up to 3.90 m33-2 now, and i want to put a psx game on my psp, is there an easy way to do this?
thanks for any help!
