if there is a dodgy key by using set default key it erases them forcing box to autoroll to look for new keys,called updating.
menu-system info-ok1004-set default key-exit out-then it should update 0%-20% after 15 secs might go as far as 240%

Hi Gang - can anyone tell me where I can get new box (looking for 2) with software on them, had silver digivoxs and was unable to update them. Can anyone tell me where to get them in Dublin and also how much,,,,,

silver digivox can be updated what is ur problem.i bet u have vers 2.5 loaded into box

silver digivox can be updated what is ur problem.i bet u have vers 2.5 loaded into box
I updated one of these (silver) last week without any problems.

tried setting default key, cable fine, updates fine....only been a problem in the last couple of weeks and only on a couple of channels......s*y premier one example.....anybody else any clue?

channel movement,factory reset,menu-factory settings ok-0000 to delete-----,power off box/on-autoscan ur provider-*** channels found,exit out,menu-system info ok1004,key emu to on,exit out.

Hi lads. Got in touch with friend of a friend. He is going to try to update for me. Thanks a mill for all your help. Even the idiots guide for updating wasn't bearing in mind idiots like me!! I'm afraid I was one of those pests just looking for codes & then couldn't even download the "bigm*q" toolbar.... Would be lost without you guys though - thanks a mill for all your help!!

Hello can anybody help me.
I have a Digivox 2007 Edition,I have very few channells showing the last few weeks ,has anybody else come accross this problem,and if so how can it be tackled?

HI,

Not really been looking at this site lately and this will probably come off as a silly/stupid question, but is the above action to fix the problem of the loss of a lot of channels but not all. I'm missing about 25/35 channels now but most of the ones I watch are fine, just noticed the likes of ch@**el4 missing. So again, will the above action fix this?

good to hear simple fix ha ha,sometimes putting in secret code does not work but u re did all above and now it works.
correct box u have is 2007

1/ press menu and go to factory settings and press ok
2/type 0000 password and press ok to delete
3/back to main menu
4/go to installation press ok
5/change telewest to ntl using directional buttons on centre of remote and press ok
6/the machine will now scan
7/wait till you get a black screen and press menu straight away
8/at system information press ok
9/on remote press 1004
10/ go down to key emu off ,using directional buttons turn to on
11/ press exit 2 times
12 finished

None of these solutions seems to work - have checked cables, deleted all channels and rescanned, set default key and let it update but still have couple of movie channels that are very choppy stop/start and if i'm on one of these channels the box eventually boots itself......i'll give a big smacker to whoever can come up with a solution....come on guys!......;-)

I've had serious problems over the last few days. Losing loads of channels. I just erased all channels, rescanned. This only picked up 46 channels and the channels were not names, they just came up as numbers. So I went into system info and turned on EMU. Rescanned and this picked up all channels.

That's my story!
