i,m the one with the adapter i did,nt have to load driver as i have got windows vista it loaded drivers for me! they told me it was the right lead as well at maplins ,but it was,nt,had to take it back, buy the lead off e-bay,and the adapter seperate if you using usb,it cost about a £10 all in but worth it in the end.i tried for a couple of days because they gave me another lead when i took that one back but nothing worked,so i brought off e-bay ad the adapter and BINGO,it worked.hope this helps

Hi,
New to this site, like many here have just got the Digivox Xl.. And like others have issue with it. Channels are scrambled. Have tryed to download from the home page for firmware, but can't seem to get it to do so. I am been sent to a online site to find something to do with bin. Is there anyone there that can tell me how to download without all this red tape. thanks

hi have you downloaded software, downloader 10 to your desktop? then download the firmware,digivoxxl_v1220_api.bin from this site(4shared) to your desktop, open up your loader then find the firmware on your desktop and put it in your loader, select the right com port 1/2/3/4,and press download, have you got the cable for the digivox.

Hi,
Thanks for reply..
have cable, but this is not the issue. When i try to download the i get sent online, as i said telling me to get something to do with the bin part of the download.. I have it on the desktop, but when i try to open no joy.. what are you telling here from your reply - put it in your loader, select the right com port 1/2/3/4, - not to sure. i have digivoxxl_v1220_api.bin, its the end portion bini think is my problem. Have done all as per digivox tutorial.

you cannot open the bin file on your desktopyou have to open your loader first and drag the bin file into the loader then download it

a lot of problems arise because of wrong cables,do u have a null modem cable has it flashed before? are u connected to box and pc with serial port and null modem cable and running xp?
or laptop with usb and vista?

all updated firmware u say u have xl with v.1220 perfect that will update for u ,if it sticks on 0% just change to another channel to update it just gets lazy.update usually goes to 240-260%,
do this then menu-system info-ok1004-set default key-and exit out all the way should work.

yes u will lose channels today next month who knows any time it happens just factory reset and autoscan and emu to on 4-5 min fix lol it does auto update so u dont need to enter codes.
every box is affected when channels move and no u do not need to flash u r box everytime this happens.
