hi guys a small problem here but not sure how to resolve it,after purchasing a d-box 2 in april i scanned it and recieved loads of channels only to find some of them locked e.g childrens channels(locked)documentaries(locked)but spoorts and films all ok is there anyway to unlock them or am i scaning it wrongly,it has the 2007 software on it,thanks.

Hi,
I posted a message on this forum last nite but it isnt here today - I wonder why.
Anyway, Im trying to find the service and bouquet files for Dublin. Im have a Nokia Box and I am on NTL. Ive tried some of teh links here like Benifas but they dont seem to be working anymore. Can someone please post these files for me or tell me where I can find them - I have tried searching in Google too but to no avail.
Please help.

Does anyone know if it's ok to connect the cable (telewest) box and the dbox to the same line (using a splitter). The reason I want to do this is because I can't afford another dbox and I'll be able to use the original cable box in my bedroom as I'll be buying the minimum channel package from telewest (virgin). Also can they tell if my original box is connected? Do they call the box up or something to see if I am using it or not just in case I don't want to use the original telewest box in the future.

Also wanted to add is if it's possible to use them both at the same time to watch different channels. Would they be able to tell then?

hey whats up people i bought my booster and i updated my software although on the new software i cannot scroll through the channels using the right button can anyone helpo me with this

Guys, im going mental here! i am watching my nokia dbox2 and i cant for the life of me work out how to turn off the 'audio description'. Any suggestions?

dcrimp...this depends wot image u using as they are different...
try yellow..or green button to change audio..
also if it is comm 7.5 it is a known bug..u will need a fix.
(or flash a later image)

Only the new sporster and commando can do this. If you have them go to
settings
miscellaneous
- now turn "virtual zap" on

If it is a sagem they do tend to freeze, though different settings might help. try setting ucode to 001A and change the cams too.
There is no need to unplug if you press the 2 outer buttons together on the fron of the box it is the same as unplugging.

can you help me i have bought a dbox2 &but can't get bruteforce, only 2 sets of numbers, can you tell me how to get bruteforce, i already have one set, this works perfectly the other set i have bought is for a mate,

it will only switch between 6952 & then goes to 6887, then back to 6952. i dont understand this tech stuff, i appreciate your help, this was supposed to be plug & play.

If you are in a T/W area choose 6952 then scan if you are in a NTL area choose 6887 then scan.

Hey guys, I?m having problems updating my dbox.
I followed the guide, pretty carefully or so I thought, everything seemed to be going ok but when it rebooted its all in German and there is no ip address so I can?t reconnect to try and fix it.
Can anyone help or am I completely screwed lol
