Docberen,
Yup, there's a ton of differenct calcs out there but there's a few variables to take into consideration when generating the codes. What version ASIC is being used in the phone, which phone on what carrier. That's why I like to get the feed back to know what worked and what didn't.

Yes, take the chip out and try it. If it doesn't work on the first shot, stop and advise. You only get 5 shots at trying to unlock.

My problem seems like a little more challanging than unlocking. I found a nokia 6680 that seems like it came from a European owner. I have no clue of what network it was on. My greatest challange is that there is a pin code, the phone is asking for a pin/puk code. What can I do??

Hi pyrotech....I didn't have any luck with your core. I put in my other sim card and the I saw the undo option and entered the code that you gave me
#pw+217825546530520+1#
I also tried
#pw+14 33 44 47 71 65 44 4+7#
still no luck.
My phone details are:
Nokia 6101
IMEI: 357064003228918
USA T-Mobile
Do I need to specify the DCT number.... if so how do I know what number it is?
Your help would be greatly appreciated.

all right i have a nokia 3595 and it is on t-mobile prepay and i'm trying to just put a cingular sim card in it and when i turn it on it ask for a restriction code. can anyone find it and post it or send it to me
email.

Please provide us with your IMEI number (it's under the battery on a label, the long one with only numbers). I'll presume you're in the US.

gibboo: Did you use this technique with the original code from someone else or the traditional method? You might try this technique with their code and that may unlock your unit.
clutsy: If the unit is defaulted, it might be 12345. Too many attempts and you'll need a code the service proder. On the other hand, the PIN is tied to the SIM so since you'll probably want a SIM from your provider of choice, it's sort of a moot point.
