Yes that is correct. Swamp magic however is not all reliable though. There are a few two disk + games that wouldnt work with the second disk. Not much thouygh. But Swamp Magic is more of a hastle to use then modchips. How old is your PS2 exactly. On old Ps2 i would sugess just getting a new ps2 and get it modded or use swamp magic on it. You could probably just get a cheap modchip for like 20$. There are so many kinds.

I have heard about the Ripper a bit but wasnt really interested in it. Guess its just not that popular to ppl here.

Not sure where u bough it from... what package did the game come in. Some of the game might be PAL format??... idonno. Do u see like black/gray/picture/video moving up and down really fast?

http://web02063.prolocation.net/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=4382&postd... His install aint that much and u will get good quality install from him but he only hva those good modchips not those cheap/clone chips. Clone chips works good but dont have as much features as the other ones. But u could probably buy a clone chip somewhere on the internet. And send your PS2 and modchip in to him for install

All chips can play backed up games online but just need the DNA$ ID to be patched. But the crystal has a patch so u wont need it. So if u have a crystal just copy your game. Have something else u would need to patch the image files with the ID.

Uhm @ MODS. im pretty sure im in the right place for this post. IF someone could help me itd be kick @ss..I just placed an order for a DMS4 E.Z.I. S.E. chip for my V5 P2 should be here in a week or less...out of 100 posts on these forums and other forums i gather that itd be my best bet..hdd compatible etc,for my needs,but.. what firmware version works best on it..I.E. Toxic OS/ToxicBIOS.main release/3rd party..etc. also..this is pretty dumb..but i have a HD7 laser in it at the moment will that require some kind of fix..or not?..Ive always been a SwapMagic/HDloader kind of guy..but im giving in to the times, plus ive been through about 7 copies of S.M. so far.

Toxic OS is the best for internal hard drive mods. But Toxic OS can only be installed in the DMS 4 PRO/SE/EZI

My PS2 model isn't listed... But the American was, SCPH-77001
PlayStation(r) 2 Slimline
Model: SCPH-77002 CB (CB = Charcol Black)
Region: PAL
Country Sold: Australia
I don't know much about my new PS2, just that its very similar to the SCPH-75002 PAL. And Swap Magic 3.6 works.

yes, That seems to be the new V15. Sites have said once that there were v14, v15, 16, but just variations of V14(v14a, v14b, v14c) but now the V15 had came out, modchips...most of them that saids for v12-v?? should work there not much differences between those. But some sites havent had the install points. more info here
