i just set my d box input into EXT 1 or sat mode and it records just trick the HDD to think the d box is a sat and it works fine

Rechecked all settings including speed but still getting message that network cable is unplugged. i have double checked all cables and even replace it incase it was faulty but still having no luck. Is it possible that i have to do something to the dbox settings for it to recognise the network connection (although i dont remember reading anywhere that i should).

hi again after a week trying to connect to the dbox i have finally done it were you type in the ip just drop it a number from the dbox ip ie 192.168.1.110 is the dbox in properties put your at 192.168.1.109 it seems to have worked for me ?
