I have a modded PS2 and official Sony 40gig HD. Trying to find a direct download of the HD Loader (NTSC) .ISO Found torrent files but they never download or work. I wanna burn to cd-r and install on my PS2. Also step by step help on burning the HD Loader .ISO would be greatly appreciated.

I have the HDLoader but I haven't tried to back it up yet.
I don't believe it will work though as the HDLoader disc is pressed as far as I know and has a special sector on it to enable PS2 boot methods.
Your best bet is to probably try and find a site that is still selling it before they are gone since they have been shut down and once stock runs out, thats it.
And yes... it is work the $35

Yes, the downloadable Free HD Loader works just fine if you have a modchip installed.
PS2 - v8
Mod - Magic V

go to suprnova.org go to games then get the torrent of free hd loader cracked by ps2 owns or sumthin like that. u need bit torrent to download tho hope that helped ya

acually i dont have a mod chip but i just ordered swap magic today and ill try it once i get my swap magic also if u dont have a dvd burner u might want to take a small file and rename it to dummy.dat and use magic iso to replace that huge dummy file

I know u can start it with a psx disk. all i need now is to get a network adapter. can anyone tell me why a network adapter is needed for the hd loader to work?

the network adaptor has the socket for the
Hard drive IDE and power connectors on it.

so the bigger the hd, the more games u can put in. is there a minimum to it to make hdloader work? some said that under 40 gigs dont work?
