So it is - you can still enter the generator - Movies,Sports & Premium require the addon in CCcam due to the encryption being in a slightly different format wit N*S

"addon" in this case is only an addition to the CCcam cfg in text format

No probs m8 - sorry was on the sauce all weekend.
I was talking solely about the format of the script in CCcam-cfg, not an addon for gemini or whatever image you are using.
Try here it will help..... http://www.cccamforum.com/forums/showthread.php?t=53212

Guys/Girls
Does anyone know of problems with the Dreambox 800 pvr.
I have just installed, let me add at great expense one of these boxes, and what i'm getting after a few hours noises and hissing, and also the unit is getting very warm, before you reply its not going on fire. I think it may be the tunor.?
I'm useing c:line, its working ok, took a while to sort out but got there, until this problem, just to add i pulled the plug on the unit, and then after about 20 mins plugged back in and its working again, would like to know if anyone else had problems or similar.

Mickah, Yes the HD is atttached to the TV, did not think that would cause much trouble.
I will disconnect to-night and see how it works, its a nice machine very good reception, haven't quite got the hang of the Bouquets, EPG not great, could be the Enigma image, maybe it needs a new flash? there was no manual with the box when it arrived, printed one of the net, which just gives you basic setup. I droped a pm to Piopat, he like yourself, always comes up a fix. By the way that was a bit grovelling.
I'm also using the plugs (wireless) great idea, saves having the kids falling over the cable from the hall to the sitting room, got two 79.99 in maps, got another two on the net 50.00, same quality.

if the HD is attached inside the DM, this may be causing it, I have seen a few remarks about overheating when a HD is put inside the actual unit, if the HD is attached externally, then it may be an issue with the actual box and cooling,

I had a problem with the fan hitting of something inside the box that made a noise but i moved the box around and all was ok

Has a turn at the top, only joking, box gets very hot, with the red hot mummmys.
I was abel to turn the box sideways, took the hiss out of it.
Took the HD cable out, only had it on for about 2 hours, the box was a bit waarrrm.
I will try again to-nite. cough, blurt,.

I think when you were asked about the HD being installed internally it was referring to the Hard Drive (not the HDmi lead).
If the hard drive is installed inside the box the heat coming from that along with the heat being generated by the box may cause overheating. If a hard drive is installed internally it also probably affects airflow within the box and contributes to overheating by merely being there.

yip, thats what i was asking, if the hard drive is installed internally this may or can cause overheating on these boxs, if it is, connect it externally
