ok i figured that out but when i put the static ip into my dyndns and then save it then downloaded the updater entered my password and user the updater the syncs the ip address and then when i go back to my dyndns it has changed the ip address

when the router is activated it will look for ip address everytime thats why setting a static address avoids this

dan, most folk have a dynamic ip. dreambox supports this by updating using inadyn plugin. if you have a static ip it does not change. so why would you need to update it.

Fintannl well maybe since you are Sharing your SKY card with others you could let the people that dont want to go on public server on your private one then there be NO problems at all

honey, not likely, though i will show them how to share safely. that is what is important to me, members are not put at risk. my share is mine for my friends. it will die as sky put countermeasures in place but it will have been fun not a business venture.

dan, not associated with them, more associated with who you know to find a cam that will work new the new countermeasures. after he recent blast of public server piracy many will no longer be willing to supply this knowledge on open forums.

Sure why dont you share your SKY CARD with them and keep them safe that way they wont need to look around and you could always give them all the info they need by pm lol

did i ever say is did nope sat is not for me cable is and a lot more people on cable then sat belive me people should take the cheap option and look up the cable boxes simple set up flash the box scan it connect to net jod done they can even use there old cable feed list of boxes now working on N3 in the UK below

e45 get a grip and grow up your petty minded games are getting old ,and you spoil the enjoyment of a great forum for all senior members and new members .e45 this is not your forum alone in case you think it is (it belongs to all members senior /newbie /addict )and of course it has moderators and rules so what the mods say is final(and i agree with that 100% ).mods this pettiness has to stop (fintann had the grace to issue an appolagy as he didnt mean to offend )im well aware that fintann can speak for himself as im sure he will .but e45 is taking every chance he has to be petty and has not appolagised (as helpfull a member as he is) mods i urge you to end this now in the interest of the forum .on any forum you cant attack other members or disrespect the forum rules .i myself as a senior member dont post often these days where as i used to post everyday e45 has spoiled my enjoyment of this forum in more ways than one ,but the worst thing is having posted peoples personal info on the open forum ,i assume even e45 wants to be annonymous or would he like virgin/ntl etc knowing who he is.mods end this now e45 has gone to far a warning is needed you can even warn me if i have over stepped the mark ,the kryptview is but one link in the long afterdawn chain.

i have no problem but i do when fintannl comes over to every thread i post in and starts on me that is why im returning the same compliment to him i did not start this he did go to any of the post i have made and he is there spouting off so its him you should be at not me and fintannl never appoligised to me at any time and other people have also told him to leave it did he no he did not i have no prob with him as long as he just stops attacking me at every oppertunity its not as if he even wants to help people he does not he just barrages them with dont do this and dont do that etc
oh and nothing i said about him sharing is not what he has openly has put on the forum himself

How is it cheaper??..First of all with sat you dont need pay a sub like you do on cable fOR your provider,,On sat you just need a dish and box and a small monthly sub to share less than what you pay to your cable providert

min sub £23.00 and if you bundle that with BB and home phone it is cheeper where as you are buying dish box having to get a cline what is the cost per month? box prob around 150 that is it no more to pay apart from your min sub what is the cost of the cline on sat per month + your BB + your home phone

well c line less than 20 a month a hd box 150 plus more channels on sat and more stable than cable??

i agree it a bit hard to get set up but when you cross that hurdle no probs from there.. I always had a cable box before n3 and no probs..but i got a starview after n3 and the trouble i had it was off more times than on..So i have been on both sides and stick with sat
