Select Set Video Mode to NTSC (60 hz). Then select Accept the Video Mode. Then you can adjust the screen position right after that.

I have swap-magic 3.6, and I put the video mode on NTSC to play PAL games, but I was wondering if I were to patch the game first (using ADR patcher or another method) Would it center it better then the way Swap-Magic does for some games.
And if this method does work, when I boot the game via Swap Magic, since I patched it, I could just select normal boot rather then NTSC correct?

Conflict Global Storm: Same as Conflict Vietnam - At the Main Menu, select options. Under options, select refresh rate. Select 60hz.

I run the ace combat 5 PAL on a NTSC PS2. The PS2 is chipped with crystal 1.1 and had bootmanager 1.8 installed. I force the the game in NTSC mode with the bootmanager option. The game worked, but one problem. The CG of Ace Cabat 5 seemed to be running at a different speed with its music and voice. That is on screen, while the video was playing way too fast while the music or mission briefing is played at regular speed. This problem only happens on CG and briefing, everything else is working normal.
Can anyone give me some help regarding this problem?

I patched the game mark echo's getting up, so it would have color but the screen is too low, i tried changing the y-fix to somthing higher and lower but the screen still stays the same can anyone help plz??? email is i'manidiot.com edited by ddp thankx

PS2DVD Driver Parallel lines [pal multi 5] [www.gamestorrents.com] iso size 4.16 Does work with swap magic v2.0 patched with pal2ntsc_y_fix. Great game by the way.
Burning godfather for the third time hopefully patching with adr patcher worked. both attempts with pal2ntsc=yfix failed with godfather from dagger.
update: Patched godfather pal ps2 with adr and it works great no problems at all driver parallel lines only prolem is movies all freeze but can be skipped by pressing x.

I don't really know the answer to your first question killa kid. But any PAL games I download I always patch with pal2ntsc with y fix. Except for godfather which required ADR patcher. Im sure if you did a search on google for adr ps2 patcher you would find something. there is a link to it here in the forums aswell you could do a seach here too.

the place where I originally got adr patcher no longer hosts the file. So what I did was rename the file to .jpg and uploaded it to imageshack, so other people can download it.

Just right click on the link and select Save Link As.. and save the link to your hard drive.
Then, right click on the file and select Open With-->Choose Program-->Winrar Archiver. Then click extract to and extract the files to your hard drive.
