I am considering buying AnyDVD. I have multiple PCs, with burners in each of them. If I buy it, can I save the program to a disc and install them in all my PCs?

According to slysoft you can put it in multiple computers as long as you have reg key. I asked them about that before I bought the program.

yes you can use that key on several diff computers.
when you buy it, you need to save the email and the key
to a floppy disks, so it will work on other computers.
good day...........

So is it my understanding that DVD Decrypter and AnyDVD do the excact same thing but dvd decryptor takes up to an hour where as AnyDVD works automatically, and decrypts in seconds.
How is AnyDVD so fast why can't decrypter work this fast?

Decrypter removes the encryption while ripping the disc to your hard drive whereas AnyDVD can't rip to your hard drive- it simply bypasses the encryptions in the backround so other ripping apps see the disc as unprotected :)

I have been lead to believe that AnyDVD will allow ripping of copyguarded CD's as well as DVDs. That gives it an advantage over Decryptor.

You have been lead correctly (Lol). AnyDVD will rip CD's too. Go for it :)
dlc2000,
In order to "fine tune" your DVDD you must go to "tools" then "settings".
Look under the File Read tab and the ISO Read tab. The selections are there.

thanks for the reply scubapete . i checked them all under file and iso read . i have been looking at some of the older versions of decrypter and see bup in them but it seems with this new version i dont see bup any where . this is what is listed under file ,ignore unreferenced vts sets , remove ifo structure protection , remove ifo rc protection , remove ifo rce protection , remove ifo puos , remove VOB puos , patch m2v timecode . nothing with bup in it either in iso read or file . this must have been a change made to the new versions im thinking . im new to decrypter so i was looking for exactly what you suggested with bup in it but its not there . i see it in older versions now so understand better now of what im looking for . thanks for the help

Does Slysoft ever run any sales or price specials on AnyDVD? That's always nice.

Would be nice if they just gave it away for free too. :-) Actually they bundle AnyDVD and CloneDVD 2 together for 59$US. Which I think is a very good deal.

@ChiefBrdy,
That bundle would be the closest thing you'll ever get.
BTW, AnyDVD was up dated again today - see how long it takes for the other guys - I'm beting either never OR in a month or 2.
Start the clock and see for yourself.

Has anyone tried the new version yet?? I installed it late last night, it opened ok but doesn't decrypt behind the New CloneDVD. I reinstallled the last version and it still works. Haven't had time to trouble shoot it yet. Just need to know if it worked for anyone else. Maybe I got a bad download.

Just read some posts on cdfreaks. Same problem I have with the new version. They gave some possible fixes for 64bit systems but not 32bit systems. Seems the problem is with versions of Nero. I'll try the fixes tonight if I have time and see if it works on the 32bit systems. Anyway its not just my system so that makes me feel better.

Yeah, 321's out of business so lifetime updates for it are a funny concept.

Actually for those dumb enough to buy the program a year after the company went out of business, it's hysterical. I can't get over how many pple want help with an out-of-date program and are pissed when there isn't any help to be had . . .
The children today don't understand that pple will sell anything and if they are not careful they'll be throwing their $$ away. Silly when DVD Shrink does a better job and costs Nada - (Lol)
@Jerry,
I was having a terrible time with AnyDVD and CloneDVD2 but it was finally straightened out with yesterday's release of AnyDVD - see how you do My Friend :)
