is there any way i can unlock my blacklisted nokia 6230 ??
is there a way you can change your IMEI to get the handset working again ??
any help or software i can download would be useful

first off remove your email address or you will get banned
if the phone is barred then you need to either change the IMEI, which is extremely illegal
or you can get the phone unlocked via a cable, but it wont work upon the network it was blocked from
i dont recommend doing this yourself, it will only cost you about 7 quid

Hey jpp01uk,
U DA MAN!! code #1 for the Nokia 6230b worked perfectly! I left the sim for Cingular in since I had heard that might have something to do with it. Not sure if it did but maybe something to tell all the other 6230b peeps having problems.
You need to set up a website and let people send money to a paypal account if they so choose. People charging absorbent fees for this should be busted but your time should be worth something and I would gladly send a couple bucks for your kindness...

im so glad ive finally cracked it! i aint setting no site up, because i like doing it for free. it winds me up that mobile phones are blocked, simply because i should have the choice to use the best offers for my phone
theres over 250 posts now in here, plus all the others in the forum, if id have taken 2.50 off each person id be a rich man, but wouldnt feel right inside, and thats saying alot because im a poor unemployed student at the moment!
the nokia forum is getting noticed across the net now on here, and the mods are starting to take this particular thread a bit more seriously, so im just happy with that. one day i might write a guide and call it quits, but im afraid there may be some broken phones that way
ok enough babbling onto the next customer...
@abe1am is it the 6230b or just the standard one?
@essex girl what network you on? i presume your in the uk because your from essex!

Yes, it's a 6230, the IMEI is 355038001302976 and it's locked to Tele2 in Norway.
From CyberGSM 5.4 it says Provider Tele2 Norway is: 24201000

@rubbaj that means someone has tried before to unlock it and used your 5 free tries, the only way to do it now is with a cable solution. take it too a shop that does it or a market stall

should this be done with an sim card in or without. since we get an "code error" when pressing the last #
-- Having to have used wrong codes from another place previously I don't think I'd want to try more codes at present time :( I have an USB cable that works with my 7250i but I don't think that's the right cable to use to access the 6230 :(, any ideas?

should be done with the sim out
if your getting errors then the best way is too take it to a shop, its not expensive. in the uk it costs about £7

Hello,
i have tried once with the software generator, but without success. First i put with no SIM card, and nothing happens, and then i put the blocked card, enter the code and get a "Code Error".
Could you help me ? do you know why it doesn't say anything without the card ? Should i try this one with the blocked card or with the unblocked ?
