Actually ignore the request - I got it taken care of. Thanks to all (especiall jpp) in the forum who help me figure out the path.

omg jpp, i have been looking everywhere for how to unlock this phone, i tried a generator but to no avail, after some googling i was able to come across this forum and saw that you were able to unlock the 6230b rh-28 for a cingular usa network! huzzah!
so here's my info:
Nokia 6230b RH-28
IMEI: 353372003302433
Network: Cingular Wireless
EDIT: Allright so I took dawebber's advice for the 6230b and left the SIM card in and used NokiaFREE unlocker. For the settings select Nokia, then select 6230 (RH-12), put in your IMEI and use USA and Cingular -Pacific Bell Wireless. Use code 7 like dawebber said and you got it. I was on try 4 of 5 so I was sweating bullets haha. I then put in my AT&T SIM and it worked like a dream.

nokia free is fine if you know the settings, its taken me ages to find them out! :) glad they worked
sometimes what zcace did works, but not very often, because its the same settings as the standard 6230 if you change nothing

you type them in with no sim card in, but you need your own unique codes, you cant use any others off of here

Just been unsuccessfully trying to unlock my phone here with nokiafree.org. Can you please help me out with a code, i think maybe I don't have the right network or Gen (whatever that is).
