I know a lot of people who have modded the old halo 2 maps without copying the whole game onto their xbox. So any ideas on how to mod the old maps?

It's pretty difficult modding old maps you have to do alot i know that but.....its very complicated! you need to stick with new maps!

Yea modding old maps would be hard just stick with the new maps. I just modded the new maps and its really easy.

Yea modding the Origanal Maps are just as easy as modding the new ones ...you just can't go on live and you need to put halo2 too your HDD

You can't go on Xbox Live because when you loaded up a certain dashboard and it probably changes your IP to 192.168.0.3 or something like that. Load up your MS Dashboard (the original Xbox one.) go into Network Settings, change you IP to Automatic. Then you should be able to go on XBL again.

well no has figured that out, YET!, how every i dont think that you can mod halo2 on xbox, but i cannot confirm cause i dont have xbox360 yet. thx to "sorry xbox360 out of stock" and i dont want to get it now cause i heard it has some faults to be fixed so im waitn until end of da year to get it with halo 3. :)

i think its kinda retarted to allow modded maps in at least custom games ranked i would understand but halo 2 shouldnt be limited to those regular game changing options. I jus get so jealous when ppl play half life 2 with all those kool those mods *sigh* but i guss it requires the game to copy it to the drive to do it anyway.

Hello. I follow all the steps, but when I go to transfer the file from PC to Xbox, it does not have the option to overwrite. Do I need to change the name of the .ppf or vice versa?

-What I do to unmod the NEW maps is I delete them and reinstall them off the multiplayer map pack disk.

When you load it up hit Load Map, then select the map whereever it is, then push Apply .PPF and load the ppf you want to apply for that map.
