I bought a 10 screw flip-top and have a 8 screw PS2. I was wondering if their were any kinds of modifications i can make to the flip-top to make it fit my PS2. I have seen the message to modify the flip top for the v9 consoles, but not for the 8 screw. I have tried to search this thread and others the best i could so if this has already been asked, i am sorry.

I would imagine its the same as the mod for the V9 ps2. When you take off your original cover look at the screw points and compare them to the cover you bought. If it's more then just the screw points and you have to mod plastic then try and send it back or have fun hackin away at the plastic. All I can say is it's a pain in the ass either way cause I had to mod mine to fit a V9 ps2. I was using CUTCO knives (surgical steel, forever warranty, yeah they are very$$$$$$ and super sharp) and I was breaking a sweat moding it. HAVE FUN

I hate all of you that Glorify www.saveware.com, its because of you why i chose to buy from them.. everyone was sucking their dicks, and im the one that got fucked, along with many other users. they got run their site based on fishy business.

im happy for you JJnger, but for me its a different story. They charged my credit card 10/12/04, two weeks later after ive placed my order, Thats the worst order processing time ive ever seen. its now 10/13/04 and i still havent received any shipping confirmation email. hopefully they send me one tommorow. i just want my stuff, i hope they dont end up stealing my hard earned money, those bastards!.. never again will i order from www.Saveware.com and for those noobs that are thinking about doing it, look elsewhere. www.customps2.com is a very safe, and reliable source for fliptop and swapmagic discs.

customps2 is good, but I the service is very slow in response to email. ps2fliptop.com responses email within hour or less during business and very fast after business hours. I am not try to promote the site. I just hate to see someone got ripped off with your hard earned money. Anyone out there had ordered from ps2fliptop, please posted here, correct me if I am wrong. their service is excellent before and after service is veryfast. They spend alot of money to advertise, you can search ther name "ps2 flip top" almost is in every search engines.

The moral of my story is: Dont shop With a Website that is remodeling, or Redoing their whole business.

Hello people.
I have just fitted my ps2 flip top cover and the only game I have (Pro Evo 4), won't load up, I just get a pinkinsh border on the screen. The instructions say the cd could be a bad burn, but what causes a bad burn, is there a particular way too burn a game for the flip top cover??
I'm a complete novice at this, a friend done the backup for me and just wondering where we went wrong.
Can somone please help the Doughnut???

Also Doughnut, Make sure your burning at a low speed on decent media. I burn mine at 2x with DVD Decrypter on Ritek dvd-r. Backed up 20 games with no problem.

So who has ordered from Customps2 and how long did it take to get your stuff?

There needs to be a list compiled of PS2 modchip sites' customer satisfaction. Doesn't seem like there's any good places to buy.

Still waiting on my order from saveware. I ordered 9/28 black push button fliptop. I finally filed a complaint with paypal and he has 10 days to give me my stuff or a refund.
Between Baysoftgames and Saveware I have been waiting since 8/20/04 for my fliptop. Why visa/mastercard and paypal allow them to continue in business is beyond me.
That is why people don't trust buying on the internet it is not safe or convenient and there is no one who will shut repeat offenders down. Yes I got my money back from baysoftgames. I had to go to my bank file papers against them, change my debit card number and wait 8 weeks for my money. That my friends is bullshit.
Now with saveware who knows when I will get my stuff or my money.
Don Rieb from Saveware only lives about a 4 hour drive from me. He better hope I don't get in a bad mood one of these days and take a little drive!!
