@Cyrozo... I have been searching around for some information about sims 2. The problem with it is that it woun't work on FW 1.5. Sorry to tell you... The only thing you can do is upgrade your psp to 2.0 amd play the game. Unfortunately I know nothing about upgrading or downgrading, still if you are determined to play the game write to me and I will shearch around and help you.

OK I HAVE NBA STREET SHOWDOWN ISO FOR PSP. AND IT IS AN ISO FILE. WHEN I TRY LOAD THE ISO USING THE UMDEMULATOR V0.8c ALL IT DOES IT RESTART ON ITS OWN. WHAT DO I DO.
SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

@yatrik04... NBA street dosen't work with umdemulator. Try useing UMDEMULATOR and DEVHOOK as shown in page 2. Download devhook and put the DEVHOOK and DEVHOOK% folders (inside FW15/PSP/GAME)in the PSP/GAME folder of your PSP. then set the UMDEMULATOR to sysytem menu. Once back on the menu go to DEVHOOK program, select the iso file and select start game.
ISO sizes can very some are much larger than others. Pro evolution soccer5 is 960 mb and SSX on tour is around 412mb. it all depends weatehr it is shkrinked or not.

hey anyone DOES NEED FOR SPEED UNDERGROUND RIVALS ISO WORK FOR PSP. AND COULD SOMEONE PLEASE DESCRIBE THEIR SETTINGS FOR UMDEMULATOR V0.8C. AND ALSO WHAT IS THE AVERAGE SIZE FOR NFS UNDERGROUND RIVALS.

@yatrik04... Try all three these three settings: in the ISO emulation mode try :
- SYSYTEM MENU: this will send you back to the menu and once that is done you will see your game in the UMD disk. Click on it and it should load. BY THE WAY MAKE SURE YOU ARE STARTING THE EMULATION WITH A UMD DISK INSIDE THE PSP.
- COPY LOAD: When starting the emulation the game should start inmediately.
- DIRECT LOAD: the game should also start inmediately.
CHECK THAT THE FOLDER SETTINGS ARE IN THE CORRECT ORDER!!!!!

OK GR13 SCRATCH THE THING I WROTE ABOVE. WHEN I PICK SYSTEM MENU ON EMULATION MODE I GO BACK TO THE SYSTEM MENU. WHEN I PICK UMD I SEE NBA STREET BUT WHEN I PRESS X ALL IT DOES IS RESTART.

OK WHEN MY ISO FILE FINISHES DOWNLOADING DO I NEED TO EXTRACT IT. BECAUSE WHEN IT FINISHES DOWNLOADING IT SAYS ISO FILE ON THE BOTTOM OF IT. DO I NEED TO EXTRACT IT OR NOT. OR DO I PUT THE FILE STRAIT ON MY PSP ISO FOLDER.

@yatrik04... Pleas men... calm down. Things will only get worse if you get tense. Ok, the first thing you have to do is to put your iso archive inthe ISO fodler of your PSP. The iso archive must have a PSP_GAME folder and a UMD_DATA.BIN file in it. the file which ontains the tow of theese files IS THE ISO FILE. NBA STREET WILL not work on UMDEMULATOR. so if you are not able to launch it with DEVHOOK, this means that the games is either for a different frame wear OR you will need try playing the GAME with COPY LOAD OR you will have to try it with the FASTLOADER.
to start the iso with copy load set your UMDEMULATOR Settings to this:
CPU/Bus speed : 333/166 mhz
Iso emulation mode : copy load
Disctype Iso : Game
Disctype Umd : Game
Updater Icon : ORIGINAL
Use boot.bin : ON
Regioncode Override : ON
Regioncode game/video/audio : REGIONFREE
Flash0 emulation : ON
Flash1 emulation : OFF

@GR13 - Sorry for the delay in replying. So, from what i've read in the last thread, Sims 2 is only playable in FW2.0. But as far as i know there isn't any way in loading ISO files in FW2.0 right?
Or might there be another way? Ripping files, converting or decrypting?
By the way, what do you mean by upgrade your psp to 2.0 amd ?
Oh, i've also tryied using Wab Version Changer 2.5 to virtually change the FW to 2.0 but still doesn't work.

@Cyrozo... there is a way by which a PSP with FW 1.5 can be upgraded to a PSP with FW 2.0. That is very simple, still downgradeing a PSP from 2.0 to 1.5 is very difficult. Another thing to take into account when upgradeing is that you can't play nay iso's, YOU need the ORIGINAL disk! If you are still interested in upgradeing just tell me and I will tell you how to do it.

@GR13 - No thanks, no point in upgrading if no ISO can be played. I also know how to upgrade. My PSP brought a Sony UMS Disk with the upgrade. But for the time beeing i won't upgrade.

@yatrik04... the name of a good iso shrinker is YA_UMD_ISO SHRINKER. Still it will not shrink the game too much. It is much better If you download a smaller ISO of the same game. IT IS THE SAME GAME ALLTHOUGH IT HAS BEEN SHRINKED PREVIOUSLY. THER IS NO DIFFERECE BETWEEN THE LARGE ISO AND THE SMALLER ONE, so check it out!!

dear GR13,
2 question if you could help me, i'd greatly appreciate it :
1: I have NFS most wanted, but when i use DEVHOOK 0.22 - it just stalls after I see the picture... it doesnt load :(
2: I have UMDEMU as well, so do i need to insert a UMD to load up? cus each time i run it without any UMD it hangs up on me. So, does this mean if I use UMDEMU, i have to have a UMD inserted?

@wai33... Hi, You must always start UMDEMULATOR with a UMD disk inside the PSP. For NFS most wanted try changeing the ISO EMULATION MODE in the UMDEMULATOR settings to DIRECT LOAD OR COPY LOAD. Fisrt try DIRECT LOAD... if it still dosen't work try COPY LOAD

@wai33 for me to play NFS-Most Wanted, if you choose to use UMD Emulator, i always run it in Direct Load. Also you need the UMD disk as GR13 said.
You can also use Fastloader. No configuration needed, just select the ISO and press X.

im having a problem with UMDEmulator..ive successfully got NBALIVE06 to work..but every other game i try will not work..I can get the splash screen to show on "START MENU" mode when i scroll up to the UMD..but when i press Start to launch it hangs and PSP turns off..could it just be the ISO files are currupt or something else?? since NBA Live works im sure i have the files in the right folders etc..ive tried all sorts of settings combos but still no luck..any suggestions are welcomed..thanks

@knowell... What game are you trying to load? Make sure that the iso files you are trying to load have both the PSP_GAME folder and the UMD_DATA.BIN file and that you are starting the emulation WITH AN UMD IN YOUR PSP. Instead of SYSTEM MENU in the emulation mode, try COPY LOAD OR DIRECT LOAD. IF YOU DO NOT have these options you do not have UMDEMULATOR V0.8c, you have UMDEMULATOR V0.8. Download the newer versions ant check it out!
