@taporsnap ... Do you see the ISO in the UMDEMULATOR? YOu may want to redownload UMDEMULATOR V0.8c from www.psp-hacks.com. If you do not see the ISO when you start bothe UMDEMULATOR or DEVHOOK you are placeing the Iso in the wrong place

@taporsnap.. WRONG FOLDER SETTING!!! the ISO folder and the UMDEMULATOR FOLDER must be BESIDE THE PSP FOLDER and not IN IT
So you would have:
E\: PSP ----------------> GAME,SAVEDATA,PHOTOS,VIDEO,MUISC
UMDEMULATOR
ISO

@tarang... ISO is a CD image of a game. You can use it to play a game. Set your folders as the instructions state and then return to the PSP menu, go to games, click on the UMDEMULATOR icon, select DIRECT LOAD and click X to start emulation

hi guys, i need your expert advice on playing burnout legends
i got umdemulator v0.8c, and i've put everything in the correct folder.
then the two PSP_GAME [folder] and UMD_DATA [bin file] i've gotta put it in the ISO folder right? ISO folder being in the root directory with PSP and UMDEMULATOR ,YUP?
so i boot up umdemulator with a umd inside, i see PSP_GAME/ and below it UMD_DATA ... i tried each of them but my PSP freezes up... i've also tried some of your advice changing it to copy boot and direct boot and stuff.... am i doing something wrong, or is the ISO just broken or something...
and y is it nowadays there is no 'game.iso' file anymore, it was so simple last time

@pspb0y... The problem is that you have both the PSP_GAME and the UMD_DATA.BIN but you do not have the ISO file. You do not have a burnout legends.ISO file which you open and you have both the PSP_GAME folder and the UMD_DATA.BIN file. STILL DO NOT WORRY THERE IS A WAY TO MAKE AN ISO with BOTH Files and finaly play the ISO in your PSP. If this is your problem, write here and I will send you a guide on how to create the ISO.
Good luck

If you want to have devhook as another launcher on your PSP you can keep them. There is no problem in haveing tow launchers on the memory stick, in fact II have three: FASTLADER, UMDEMULATOR and DEVHHOK. Just remember how to install it: DEVHOOK and DEVHOOK% from inside FW15/PSP/GAME into PSP/GAME on your psp and DONE! muche easyer than UMDEMULATOR :P
Im glad you made your games work! The problem with WCpoker must be the ISO. Maybe it is too shrinked or no complete. (I have the same problem with Midnight club 3: I just can't get passed the performance part in the garadge). Still, all you can do is download a new ISO and try it.
Good luck

@taporsnap.. To dump iso's you will need FASTLOADER. To install fastloader you will need to put the FASTLOADER AND FASTLOADER% foldres (inside PSP/GAMES) in the PSP/GAMES folder of your PSP. Then put the ISOSPLIT and ISOMISK in the ROOT DIRECTORY BESIDE THE PSP FOLDER. Then just put the original UMD and the memory stick into your psp, go to fastloader and select DUMP UMD DISK in the main menu of the UMD. Once yuo selected that the PSP will create an ISO of that game in your memory stick. for more info check reyz link.
Good luck

I delete ISO file on the MemStik then recopied it again from the source.. and it works! U really help me..
And U know.. UMDemulator doesn't work in firmware 2.0, so we can't play ISO file on 2.0..
I want to ask U.. Is it possible to upgrade my 1.5 to 2.0 (to play GTA) then downgrade back to 1.5 after i finished playing GTA, so i can play my ISO file again?
Thanks before..

@eva99 ... upgradeing to 2.0 is easy, but downgradeing to 1.5 is not that easy. If you still want to play GTA and want to upgrade your PSP, write and I will tell you how

@amon... UMDEMULATOR lets you play ISO films and determine wnich region to use. You must use these settings:
CPU/Bus speed : 222/111 Mhz
ISO Emulation Mode : system menu
Disctype ISO : video
Disctype UMD : video
Updater icon : remove
Use boot.bin : off
Regioncode override : select the region you want to use
Flash0 emulation : off
Flash1 emulation : off
You can determine the regioncode of the video in regioncode.
Good luck

Thanks @GR13.. to upgrade my PSP i already have EBOOT LOADER for 2.00 in my PC, i know how to do it, this forum provide me with the guide. But i still don't want to upgrade until i assured that i can downgrade back to 1.5.
U know, i still have a lot of ISO game that i haven't play.. I already have MPH Downgrader and EBOOT LOADER for 1.5, but will i brick my PSP if i downgrade back to 1.5 once i update? Anyone has experienced it?
or maybe someone has made UMDemulator work for 2.00? it would be great if i can play ISO file in 2.00..
anyway, thank for the offer.. U really kind

@eva99... Unfortunately, ther isn't any UMDEMULATOR for 2.00 (that would be grate!). I am almost sure the PSP will not brick if you downgrade it from 2.0 to 1.5. All I know is that during the process some error signs will appear but you musn't get worried about that. I have a 1.5 and never upgraded it nor downgraded it so I have no experience although there are may people here that have done it.
Good luck

@ GR13.......... always thankful for people like you. I am learning a great deal from this forum. Keep up the good work and hopefully they find a universal eboot loader so psp of different version can play iso games.
