CrazyGrun : i'm glad you solved your xbl issues, aid 3 is like an xbox enhancer its a MUST for all xbox modders. it contains all up to the date apps and tools for your xbox needs. i highly recommend this . check out xbox-hq or aidulxe and check what it has . i think it is very useful for everyone

Now ive got a new question how do you make all the News "RSS Feeds" work and skin downloads b/c i get HTTP not found and some numbers any ideas?

Hey There,
First off all i'd like to say cheers for this class softmod, but i have come up with a problem, for some reason it has come out black and white when unleashx dashboard comes up, and if i run a game through it, it comes up back and white aswel,
What should i do?

You must have installed an NTSC dashboard over a PAL xbox, or vice versa. You should be able to change the region/video mode in the "System managment" settings.

What should i do, were is System Managemnet, i have tried changing the video settings to PAL and NTSC but nothing is happening...

Hmm, in that case you may have to re-install the softmod, but I would ask gus, he seems to know much more about softmod than I do. I just recently got my xbox, and am waiting on my action replay through the post, I'm more a PS2-tech help kinda guy, so ask gus.

Alright, i have know sorted out the problem with the black and whiteness, but i have come up with another problem, when i put in halo 2 and click copy it comes up with Error:112, can someone please help?

yep reinstall it , put your game load linux unisntall it reinstall it. but also check what option your installing , if your canda/usa nstc if your on the other side PAL of world like aus england then PAL.

error 112 means it couldnt copy it using ux feature, first of all your retail hd will not fit halo 2 , the hd wont fit . 2nd use dvd2xbox , download aid 3 and its iso updater 3.2 an it has dvd2xbox .0.7.6 which is the latest.. and yes its required since the xbe needs to be patched to run from hd . but again firt things first you have to make a bigger hd with xboxhdm1.9 pm for that

got another problem, whenever i try to connect my xbox to my computer via ethernet cable it says down at the bottom of the pc screen THIS CONNECTION HAS LIMITED OR NO CONNECTION. i don't know if its the cable or not because i use that cable to connest to XBL aall the time anyone know what to do?

do this test .how do you connect it when your playing xbox live? well try leaving it connected like as if you were playing xbox live but insted try to ftp ... oh and for the love of mike try FlashFXP
and if that does not work try to connect to xbox live . also you do know that you have to change settings on your network right?
i recommend putting it in DHCP and keep in mind that dhcp changes its number everytime it reboots.

Alright,
My modded xbox was connecting to FlashFXP nice and easy, but then the ip changed and stoped connecting, whenever it tries to connect now it says 'Connection Refuse'. When i try putting it on DHCP the ip never shows up. I know its not with my connection because Kai Link can detect it. What Should I Do?

guys i cant do everyting myself lol try going to settings > network> and check out the options and mess with it BUT REMEMBER what you did or click reset or restart network under misc and see if it helps... also when you plug your cable on the back of the xbox check if its glowing green .... and if you always get 0.0.0.0 and it does NOT glow green then your network adapter is fried

Look for a Crossover cable. They are very cheap.
Gus, another few questions!
On AID 3, It says install softmod dashboards, which I understand I should go to, then should I install the DHCP ones or the ones which does not have DHCP written beside it? I'm an Xbox Live User by the way if this makes any difference.
Also, when I install the softmod and run AID 3 to install all the apps/emulators, is it possible to install more than two dashboards onto the Xbox to use? And If so, where should I install them to? The C drive or the E drive? (I'm using the dual-boot method)
Also, after installing the softmod (EvoX) when I re-start my xbox and go to the EvoX dashboard, should there be all the options such as "Launch Xbox Media Centre" etc. Or does that have to be installed manually, with installers like AID 3?

Oh yes... I have UnleashX as my default dash, but I also have avalaunch, XBMC and EvolutionX on my XBOX. I installed all mine to the E drive.

It should be under apps upon reboot. But then again, I used AID 3.0...
