arrgh i said get AID 3 ... auto installer deluxe 3 it has tools apps and homebrew stuff... yes dvd2xbox latest bult is there alonge with new dashes and so on...

like i said if your xbox plays burned music then well you know your xbox plays cd-r. if not just burn it to a DVD-R . download aid 3 extract it burn the iso and voila... want latest up to date dvd2xbox??? which is very needed to update it frequently . then download the update pack too...

i recommend downloading the entire aid 3 disc and aid 3.2 update pack. 3.3 is sometin else so its not needed.
bit comet is pretty sweet client , however i think theirs an http: download which is far the best method to download it . see the link i provided on that aid 3 fourm it has all downloads needed
ADDED: oops looks like you guys need a bit client as thast seems the only method for downloading aid 3 and the 3.2 update pack

ok i payed $5 for vip membership for 14days so i got the http download of it so after i get it what do i do with it>? how do i put it on my xbox anyspecial folder btw u can call me squirrel its faster than my nck and thats what my nick means anyway

so a small program of about 300mb would take you 2 days?
yet getting it off of an http site for $5 would take less time?
when you could just as easily download it for free from a http site instead of paying for it.
i don't care if you have the money for this kind of thing, it's the principle, you're stupid.

why should i bother searching for you when I have plenty of other things in the real world to do jerk.
if you can't download quick enough off of a torrent site it's not my fault, when you probably only want one program off of the aid3 anyhow.

a'righ break it up ... first of all timmy_no7 its none of your d@*$ buisness what he pays or not . 2) of all being a vip on xbox hq is very very good you get mostly EVERYTIng theirs is to xbox and alot more stuff that not even i know...
and yes it takes a while to download aid 3 since its a cd size (700mb) i'd pay $5 for it ... i mean all that time downloading wastes alot of your time = money ... also your eletric bill isnt free.
no you dont have to do anything special you just go to the apps list on the aid 3 menu and choose dvd2xbox and click install.. it does everyting by it self..
auto installer deluxe 3 :D ... ask more on hq as its more resourceful there then here. i was on xbox hq b4 but its taking up much of mine time so i called it a quit... sooner or later thast going to apply here. oh and everyone that owns a xbox or atlest 98% modded xbox oweners DO have aid 3 .... think of it as slayer being human and aid 3 being god..
once you download aid 3 you extract it and burn the iso and put it on your disc.. perferably dvd-r but it WILL read it IF your xbox reads burned music..

It's simple to burn a DVD with AID3 on it. Just open up ImgBurn which you can download for free here - http://www.imgburn.com/index.php?act=download
And click mode>write.
Click the little folder button, choose the ISO file, insert high quality media like Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden DVD-R, because I see your Xbox cannot handle CDs, so you probably have a v 1.1?
Click the button with the harddrive>dvd picture, and watch it burn. Don't forget to set it to 2x for burning slow.

I thought you knew better than that TimmyNo7. It really isn't any of your business if somebody pays for something or not. It happens that I don't agree with paying for something I can get for free elsewhere but that's the man's choice. Nobody forced him. It just so happens I'm a member of xboxhq, I think the attitude of certain members there really stinks so I don't use it very much. To be honest it's full of people like you!!! If you can't say anything constructive then butt out and let people who want to help get on with it. As to what you think and what you know... I think your posts answer those questions quite adequately..Not very much!!!
It's my belief you have got lucky that you haven't been reported for offensive posts here.

When you say "we've crossed paths before", if you're referring to the time in this thread where you were talking about modding maps, and i said that modding maps was stupid, you knew what I meant by that. I meant it in a sense of using it within xbox live, as it gives players an unfair advantage.
You replied with a message similar to the unfair statement and then I said that I agreed with you too, that it is good to use within a system link game.
That's not really an argument, sure it's crossing paths but it's us having a constructive conversation on a pre-determined topic... nothing bad about that?

Thats not the point is it? Why go flaming people for doing what they chose to do.. Your outburst in this tread both times hasn't been particularly constructive. The point I'm trying to make is. Do you have anything worthwhile to contribute to the softmodding tutorial thread or not? If so post and be useful..If not then butt out and let everybody else get on with it. That's all..very simple question.. Now if you want to help somebody why don't you go and find an unanswered thread that you know the answer to and be useful to somebody, instead of being a pain in here.
