@magemash: yea, i've been booting japanese, european, NTSC, and PAL games for months now. It works; just make sure your tv can play PAL if you're trying to play a PAL game, or use a PAL-nstc converter first.

basically for my kingdom hearts 2 back up and same for my soul caliber 3 backup the game boots but nothing shows up on the screen..it just keeps on twirlin...but if I put in old back up games like kingdom hearts 1 or ffx, it works perfectly ?...any one know a solution to this problem ?

I know alot of you might already know this but for those who might be skiming through and dont know, you can use the AR Max codes with this method. Choose your codes and select start game with codes, but keep the AR Max disc where it is it will reboot the AR disc then just go through the normal process outlined in this guide to boot your backed up game. You are now playing with codes.

You sir, are my hero. I spent a few hours doing some of the sensor disabling , and switching between flash drives, but i finally got it up and loaded. I had some trouble loading particular games , but after experimenting with dfifrent games, i found that using Devil may cry SE, I can load pretty much every backup i have.

Hi, I have tried everything I could think of (except for buying a new game which I may have to do if there is no help,) I have a PsTwo SCPH-75001( so it's v14) and AR MAX with a USB (that came with the AR MAX)... I can run the CDLOADER.elf and it will run work, until I put in my original Ps2 game (Devil May Cry) and it says that the disc is invalid (Mind you it is NOT the backup.) I tried with a PSX game and a DVD, just to see if it was the .elf, but it detected them as PSX game and DVD...

Did I do something wrong perhaps? Or is it the disc that I have (BTW it is the original)

I would greatly appreciate any help that can be provided... Like if I have to get a different game, which game would be THE BEST? I looked for Primal, and couldn't find it. Should the game I get have a lower TOC than Devil May Cry, or what?

Thanks in advance

I allways use star ocean till the end of time its really cheap and has the largest TOC I have found. Why DMC3 doesnt work is kinda weird I tested it just now and it works fine for me. Are you pressing triangle when you take the AR disc out to reset the laser? Then pressing it again when you put DMC3 in?

Yeah... I have been pressing the triangle button when it needs to be pressed, but it's just DMC...not DMC3 ... I guess, that's the problem? *SIGH* I guess I'll go get Star Ocean- Till the End of Time (<--- Amazing Game)

Thanks again

Sorry about the DMC thing I was half asleep when I read it. I dont know about a PS1 game if you had a gameshark that works with your PS2 it would be easier. What PS1 games do you have? probably some rpg would be best. I dont know I havent used CDLOADER for PS1 games

I found a 100 pack of Imation DVD+R at staples on clearence for 10.99. I cant find them anywhere now though. I've done everything from movies to ps2 games , and never had a bad burn , infact i left ffXII running for 3 full days in my ps2 running like magic still.
