Hi everyone,
I have read the thread but still can't get my game to work. I have Toshiba dvd-rw, and i'm using traxdata dvd+dl. I've downloaded Tenchu Z and when i open it in XDVDMulleter everything is fine, extreme compatibility all is checked, but when i open it with xbox backup creator i get this
"Getting media info [D]
Media Type: Not Present
Checking Stealth Compatibility
Video is valid
PFI Failed. Unknown Data
DMI is present
SS is present
Stealth Check Failed!"
does anyone know what is wrong??

Thanks Josh and unimatrix for the help. Some games say pre-patched, and it looks like most of the new games are pre-patched. I just opened the .dvd file, not the.iso, with CloneCD and the games work perfectly.

Right after my long battle with the xbox and burning coasters i have the answers to all.
First you can update halo 3 and any other game when it asks. Be careful with console updates i dont know what they will do yet. But keep up to date with the firmware to be safe.
Now i got my console back and it was the chip, so for those who have chipped it i strongly suggest you look into flashing the firmware it works like a charm now.
How to burn:
If you have an Iso of the net then its probably pre patched like Bioshock, so you dont have to worry about the SS file
1. Use NME associator and convert it, using the convert tab.
2. Use imgburn and set it to 2x
3. Make sure when you burn you are using the .dvd file with the correct layer information
4. Make sure your burner has the book type dvd-rom enabled for your dl disks.
its as easy as that if you get errors with that method look at your flashed firmware and do it again or consider the chip may be faulty.
If you read back a few pages i had severe grief over this issue due to a faulty chip.

hey all,
I try to burn 360 games using using clonecd 5. However, clonecd gave me size error, saying the file size its too big. So, i tired to burn with Imagburn and Dvd decrypter. It worked for writing part but when it came to verifying i got error saying Failed to Read Sector 704450 - Timeout on Logical Unit.
Can anyone please help me out on what should i do? THANKS

LG is one of the drives supported by imgburn so i believe you may be able to change its booktype setting, install imgburn and check it out. You need to be burning witht he booktype dvd-rom
By the way we are talking about a 360 game?

You should really be more descriptive about your problem and issue.
- Are you using ixtreme firmware?
- Do you have a PAL or NTSC console?
- Is the ISO you downloaded PAL or NTSC (it matters because EA games are NEVER region free)
- Is the ISO prepatched w/ security sector
- Is the ISO properly stealth patched w/ DMI & PFI
The stealth files only matter if you're using ixtreme firmware
I don't Usenet, it uses me.

Hi ^^
I have a small question : )
I want to burn a game but there are many files like this:

I don't know what am I suppose to do here, should I highlight all of the files that end with the ccclx-etsona.r68 file then extract them all?
and what about the last 3 files ccclx-etsona.rar, ccclx-etsona.sfv and ccclx.nfo?
I have a modded X360 ^^
Thanks .. : )

@ Abistar
I have not got a clue how you backup games on your hdd i know how to burn only, but i would image you are doing something wrong when copying as in using the wrong tool or not the right tool i would visit xbox scene or try to find the appropriate thread.
@x360
those are .rar files, find file 01 and extract using win rar, if you dont have it download it and when you double click it will automatically open the program then extract it to a location ono your hard drive. then read back a page or two on how to burn the games there is a bit to it and you have to know the basics i posted a tutorial too which instructions.
So in steps for you
1. get Winrar (one word)
2. Extract
3. Read instructions on burning
enjoy ;)

Hi lads,
My boy wants a 360 for xmas. I've run swapmagic on PS2's for a couple of years and a mod chip on a front loader. Can I ask some simple questions without getting flamed lol.
I've got a benq 1650 flashed and I'm using philips DVD-R's no coasters working fine. Can I use these for the 360 games
I don't know what drive will be on the 360 yet so flashing info will have to wait.
Thanks for the help

There is nothing like swap magic for the 360....to play backups you'll have to flash the firmware w/ a hacked firmware.. If you do this you'll need a burner capable of burning DVD+R DL. @ this time, the only drive that doesn't have a hacked firmware is Benq.
I don't Usenet, it uses me.

Thanks gehx, Yeah I know that I will have to flash the box. The benq does +RW DL, but I have at least 80 -RW left and I wondered if the 360 games could be burned on them :)...

Im trying to backup some pal games and try to burn them with clonecd - but for some reason they come out called xgd2dvd_ntsc
Now the question is if i can set the format somewhere?? I cannot find it anywhere in clonecd or in the hardware settings for the drive... What am i missing here?
