Hey does anyone know if the return to 1.5 without reboot mod works without any hassel?

where can I get a programme that will allow me make my .iso files into a .cso file and amke it smaller??

You want to search for a file called the "Dax CISO Convertor"; think it was on www.ps2nfo.com (can't remember tbh) ; is on www.mininova.org too (torrent)

jeccius all 3 Tekken(JAP ,Eur and US) games work untouched so you do not need to change the prx.If it works from USB it has to work in your MS.I think it is your MS. Where did you buy your MS?(is it real)
Sparsh I use the homebrew that DHv46 has in the 2.71 xmb to return to 1.5 and it works ok. (no mod)
FetusRape is your GTA original(untouched)? Look at the last 3 pages and it tells you what setting to use on DH.
noDS try UMDgen 3.5 that lets you rip iso's and make them in to .cso

holy shit
it has nothing to do with my GTA
i want to use FIRMWARE 2.6
2.5 would be okay too
i can choose any iso i want
i just try to start the game and i stays black
no psp logo
nothing
and after a while it just turns off

Ok now I see you what to load 2.6 FW with GTA(to use the Cheat app)If you do not what it for that use 2.71 FW. Do you have the 2.6 and 2.71 FW files with DH?or only the 2.6?
Some peapel have told me that 2.6 FW did not work with there DHv46.
I will try 2.6 on my DHv46 and see if it works.
Did you only try GTA iso? Try a different iso and see if it works.

i tried some random games too like
star soldier or whatever its called and uh street fighter... tekken
and so on
everything works fine with 2.71

Did you try them with 2.6 FW on DH?and did you install the 2.6 FW files?
(if you only have 2.71 FW files that is why 2.6 will not work)
I will try some gmes in 2.6 FW(DHv46)and see if it works.
Why do you what 2.6 FW?to use the eloader(you need GTA UMD)

I think it is the files that you are useing. I tryed my 2.6 FW files I have and they work ok in DHv46. It can be that you have a mod that only works with 2.71 FW. If you do have a DH with mods get the one that works with 2.5 to 2.71(at ps2nfo.com get mod v3.6 and some new 2.6 FW files that are in a older DH full pack)

Hey guess what. I managed to get Silent Hill Experience working. Had to download a older devhook programme. The weird thing is that it runs any UMD Movie. Thats cool. Im happy about that. Now I can get myself UMD Movies! YAY!!

Couple of queries,
Have just installed Devhook via the Ultimate Devhook thing, was wondering how to switch between firmware 2.71 and 1.50 easily?
Another query i have is does Devhook 0.46 have the abilty to run Iso's or will i need UMD Emulator?

I believe there is a mod to allow for easy switching between firmwares, but haven't used it. You should be able to find it on psp-hacks.
And yes devhook does load isos, so get rid of umdemulator.

Ok cheers, so i've put an ISO in a folder named ISO in the root folder of my memory stick. Now how do i load the ISO, go onto Devhook launcher and then what? Does a UMD need 2 be in the drive?
So how do you currently switch between firmwares or are you just staying on 2.71, because what would the need be to switch back to 1.5?

Yeah load up devhook and put the following settings in.
UMD Select - Select your iso/cso
UMD Mount - ISO ANYUMD
UMD Version - 2.xx -> 2.00
Firmware - 2.71
CPU Clock - 222MHz /166MHz
Boot Select - reboot XMB
Then your game should start. You do need a umd in the drive, has to be a game or demo, no movies.
If I want to return to 1.5 I just reboot the psp.
