One more thing was that I tried to de-kxploit my 2 folder devhook with sei-tool as I heard just having the folder DEVHOOK avoided BSOD, but the single folder that I made wouldn't launch. So I'm back to the k-xploited one.
Any help on either of these much appreciated.

if he bought it on ebay and he said in his ad it was a 1.5 but it was really a 2.71 u should contact him for a refund bc he lied on his listening, on ebay u cant lie at all on anything about your listening , if he refuses to send money back , have him contact paypal who will then decide if your friend is entitled to recieve money back , paypal has helped me get money back many times from bad sellers

No there is no downgrader for any PSP with firmware 3.02. So dont upgrade to it. And if you have firmware 2.71 or below then you can upgrade to 2.71 (if you don't have it already) and then use DevHook to emulate 3.02.

I downloaded vice city stories and it works perfectly with devhook 0.46 emutating 2.71 but for some reason, it doesnt work in devhook 0.51 emutating 2.71, 2.82, 3.0, 3.01 and 3.02. When I start up the game, the PSP logo comes when I start it up and then it freezes. Does anyone know how to run them in devhook 0.51? and is there a usb mod for devhook 0.51?

I downloaded vice city stories and it works perfectly with devhook 0.46 emutating 2.71 but for some reason, it doesnt work in devhook 0.51 emutating 2.71, 2.82, 3.0, 3.01 and 3.02. When I start up the game, the PSP logo comes, and then it freezes. Does anyone know how to run them in devhook 0.51? and is there a usb mod for devhook 0.51?

I have devhook .46 loaded and running. I have UMD_Emulator 0.8 running.I have fastloader 0.7 running. I have d/l pinball hall of fame, ATV off road fury, Sonic rivals,SOCOM Navy Seals, Syphon Filter,and cannot get any of them to run. I am new to this and have been reading everything I can and am at a dead end now. I downgraded from 2.6 to 1.5 without any problems and I almost got the pinball working but it starts to load and shuts off the machine. I am using Tiger Woods UMD as the game. I have the ISO folder in the root dir and can see all of the ISOs from all of the programs, but none of them load. I am not sure if the ISOs are good but I downloaded them from A Torrent site and I cant believe they are all bad. It has to be my setup or something. I have the eboot files in the %_SCE_DEVHOOK and the _SCE_DEVHOOK folders which are in the PSP|GAME folder. Sorry this is so long, tried to make it as detailed as possible. I would appreciate any help in this problem. Thanks in advance.

swm20001 hi i am new to all this but as far as i no you only need dev hook 46 all the isos you have should start with this i struggled to start with i loaded devhook 3-4 times untill i got going but once installed its brill there is only 1 iso i cant start and thats wwe raw vs smackdown 2007

Ill make it short. I got a new PSP V2.60 TA-082. Is there a way to run devhook and play games from the memory stick?
I have other older PSP and devhook works great!!. Please help, would like to give it to my kid for Christmas.

congrats on your DH0.51 instalation & settings tutorial - one small question - if you are installing using the auto installer there is no mention of deleting previous versions of DH as stipulated in the manual method or are you assuming that a clean MS is being used? Same comment for removing previous DH stuff from flash? Also, does this installation contain a fix for the the X/O button swap? That's it. thanks

@tobster- Yeah I assume the memory stick is clean. Also no button swap is included, download that from here:

hey just got a psp, its got fw2.71, installed henc and devhook ran them did all that installed it.
loaded up devhook and changed ti 2.71(not the flash) loaded up SMACKDOWN Vs RAW 2007 iso. then start.
loaded in a umd and there was the pic of the smackdown game.i was like yes!!! its working.....cliked on it then the psp screen loades the anime one...then a black screen......then nothing...screen comes back saying the game could not be started?
is says i have to update to 2.82......is this cause the game is new or something? this is the first iso ive downloaded so not sure....i was buzzing out as the tutorial on here was so good!! please help!!! i wanna play smackdown i was so close!!!!

ok i have TA-082 and using henc and devhook.
almost all games work just fine but some games just won't work.
first i thought i had a bad iso so i downloaded them multiple times and different releases but the same result...
a while ago, i heard you have to apply patch to some games.
if i do that, would it work? and where would i get the patch?
games i couldn't get to work no matter what i did are:
winning eleven 9
pro evolution soccer 6
monster hunter freedom
splinter cell essentials
and someone told me to just disable hen if games don't work, but my version doesn't have the option to disable it. (i think only chunglam version has that option but i don't like chunglam one)

om i think i know how to do it, but i can only find a US updates of 3.01 does it matter cos i have a UK psp. can i still use the 3.01 updates for devhook 0.51
