sorry to keep ask another question but i have tried the search but didnt understand the threads that came up.
my question is, i have a 1 GB sony memory stick with devhook .51 on it with all the files flashed etc. i have now ordered a sandisk 2 GB, how would i put devhook on this new stick? I read somewhere that you dont need to flash the files again all you need to do is put the devhook launcher etc on the new stick.

I have the game and I've ripped it to ISO and it runs fine on DH 0.51 BETA under FW emulation 3.01.
I was going to install 3.03 OE-B, but if some games won't work...
But anyway, here's my question: how do I completely uninstall DH? Do I simply format the memory stick or do I need to uninstall DH files from flash0 and/or flash1?
Any help appreciated.

Uninstall while leaving your current HEND (or C)
Take the folder DH, and press the good ol' del button
to remove EVERYTHING... yeah formate the memory stick
HENC(or D) + Devhook (any version) dosnt stick in ur PSP's flash. once u hard re-set it..its gone..
do... its all on set memory :)
I wouldnt jump right to 3.03 OE-B yet..im on OE-A.. and im loving it... no problems.. altho im not trying to play the games u guys are..so... personal prefrence i guess

I had the exact same problem... and thats why i decided to downgrade to 1.5, and upgrade to Dark_AleX's Custom Firmware 3.03 OE-A
altho u can escape all of thise... pressing circle..with the BSOD will reset ur psp.. likke.. system settings... psp nickname etc.. after u do that..it WILL be in 3.02. trust me
it did it to me everytime tho..thats why i hated it.
if u got a TA-082 Mobo unit... and 2.71 FW.. gimmie a shout on msn..and i can downgrade ur psp !much easier.. u will be in 3.03 all the time..no dev hook needed..and u can run ur .iso games directly from memoery stick without ANY hend+devhook (meaning no files on ur memeory card..lettting u store more games/music/movies :)

you dont need to re-flash it
well i mean..u do..but only the HEND files
nothing else.
its not hard.. like
it either goes Blue + green..and ur g00d to go again
or it goes blue + red.. just do it again untill u get green

i used hend and devhook version 0.46 and when i try to play a cso it says i have to upgrade to version 9.99 or later. can any one help???

you cant downgrade to a higher firmware, but it is possible to downgrade to a 1.5

I still have devhook 0.51, 3.02 FW and running games fine. But it just seem that everyone is moving on to 3.03 OE/A-B and I want to take the next step. However I was told that I would need to unflash my PSP first, if so, how do you that?

thats exacty my point
the only thing that DOES flash is HEND(or C) devhook does not.
either that or... by flash ur files to ur new stick...u mean install then yes
u have to take all the files and reload them onto your new stick.

ok i have 3.03oe-b and i have the PES 06 game but everytime i start the game goes to the select lang den to the loading screen den after that it just goes blank and nothing happens can someone tell me y it is doing that

i have psp fw1.50 with devhook 0.46, so i want to upgrade my devhook to 0.52 so i can play higher fw of iso also run psx emulation

can someone help me, i have devhook .51 installed ( i followed the tutorials and got the files from eternails site) sometimes when i try to start an iso with it it just goes to the psp gameboot and stays like that for about 15 seconds then the pso just turns off. Also, when i try to exit a game it says please wait for the same amount of time and then turns off.
it is not a bad iso cos it is a straight rip.
please can someone help me. thanks

ill try but when i play a umd it dosent exit propaly either
EDIT i think i found the problem, i think the iso was much too big, it took up 880MB out of my igb stick, with a 200mb iso it works fine

Hi, I use PAL and have downloaded several PAL games. Usually they come with a copy of devhook, all my games work with ESPAL's version of Devhook 0.43 and 0.46, which is in spanish which is very inconvenient. When i create my own devhook from the eboot's, e.g. 0.51 or even download a ready one none of my games work, espal or not, and I know how to configure devhook, I've been using it long enough. This is so frustrating as I don't get new firmware emulation, english and all the games load in spanish too.
Anyone got any ideas?

In retrospect, PAL is irrelevant. I installed 303.oe rev b and while the games are found fine, when they play I get their splash screen and then an error (80020321) for all my games. And my espal devhook wont load anymore. So now I cn't play any games. Any ideas please..........

OK fixed. for the first time ever I took the UMD out for the 303 oe install. And forgot to put it in. This prevented the games from loading. Now they are fine. Still weird devhook wouldnt work with them. But I guess I don't need to worry anymore. Thanks for all your help anyway!

I've got PSP 2.71 with 1.5.
I go to hen b then when i try to emulate ISO in devhook 0.46 everything is fine when i choose 2.6 firmware but when i try 2.71 in devhook screen goes black and turns itself off. Am I doing something wrong or can i emulate only ISOs up to 2.6? I've tried over the hedge but is not having it in 2.6.Please help.

hi,hope this isnt too much of a stupid question!!i have a fw 1.50 psp with devhook 0.51 installed on it..i want to know if i have to uninstall devhook before putting on dark alex's custom 3.02 oe-a fw as i have read that installing dark alex's oe-a will format the flash 0 before installing but didnt want to rush into it with out finding out more from u guys!looked through alot of forums trying to find out without posting but couldnt get a proper answer so hope someone will enlighten me ....thanks ;)

hi blade003, yeah that usually happens on devhook .51, and i find that switching around the settings seems to work even if you have the correct settings, switch and switch back, worked for me. As of the exiting the game part, where you said it freezes at the please wait, this is an unknown bug and its totally normal.

well thats what everyone would do! yeah so formatt but make sure to back up your save files on your pc. Then you will be at 1.50 and just upgrade to 3.02 0e-a. if you want you can go up to the latest 3.03 oe-b, but make sure you go from 3.02oe-a to 3,03 oe-a to 3.03 oeb.
