kealvalro, the one u given me is it a torront site (Don't understand the words there)??? Cos. i m still trying to learn how to use torront. :-(
1) What do i need to dl the file???
2) Do i need to download any installer???

your not breaking any rules as long as it's not illegal.
torrent are data files, not the exact file. EX. you want to download an .iso file so you can play games(obviously nothing copyrighted) so you would first download a torrent file. You will need a program to open .torrent files so download uTorrent which is the quickest one out there at www.utorrent.com. Once you've downloaded that you can go to several sites to find your torrent files so for example I want to look for Lego Star Wars.iso(I already have that copy but I am finding it to stick on my memory incase I ruin my UMD). Now I go to any of these sites given to me by Hexitnow:
http://www.scrapetorrent.com
http://www.mininova.org
http://www.torrentspy.com
I go and type in what I am looking for and in this example it was starwars. Once I find it I download the file which will be a .torrent. I download it using uTorrent which it should do automatically. If not select utorrent as the program which it opens it.
Then you sit back and let it download. Once it is finished it should be a .iso file. If it gives you a bunch of files like .001 .002 etc... then you'll have to go a few steps further but nothing complicated. Refer to the stickys on this site. If you go to the search up top type in torrent and it will give you a bunch of guides from this site that can help you, it helped me. Some of them show you step by step and what happens incase your file turns out with these .001 .002 and so on. Hope this helped you.

doki dowload a client for the torrent files.it is best if u don't use a router coz it slows down.but if u do have router then set the tcp port number in your router so that it would be a lot better.
sorry back to where we were,download Azureus torrent client,this needs java,so remember to get sun java first.search in yahoo for Azureus.do not get bitcomet or BitTornado or bitlord coz usually these clients are banded in most of the sites noe

OMG man the GBA game is soooo f*ckin hard to beat. in the days of GBA did ppl still use "game genie" to cheat or did they use "game shark" "action reply" etc...? if they did is there a way i could use those cheat programs with my GBA emulated game you think??? i remember u saying somthing about having a cheat enabler already installed in chunglam's easy installer... although personaly i didnt like going through all the gay ads, it worked just fine for me. it took about 40sec b4 it was ready to download for me but you just have to be paitent.

pantherx i guess u have to download the cheat file but there are very lessat the moment.check out this site

though i do not think it would work for gba games coz this is somehow like a gameshark or action replay
kondor i think bricking will never happen but most will get confused only or stuck.as i said dark_alex one does not write flash so chance in bricking is almost null.well unless anyone tries to download in unknown sites then thats horrible.take care guys

No I don't think anyone has bricked their PSP. I have a TA-082 motherboard with updated firmware 2.71 and it works. HENC wont brick it because it doesn't affect the flash memory directly. Everything is written to your memory stick anyways. You wont have a problem.

I know on some SNES emulators they have game genie, action replay, game shark with the program that you can turn on while playing. I don't know if they have them on the GBA ones but search, maybe they do for a diff prog. If they don't then just keep playing the game over and over till you pass the level :) (that's my old nintendo generation talk)

Thanks again guys kealvalro & PSPSteve u guys ROCK !!!! Try it out on the iso demo....it works....lalala :-) now trying to dl a games but the problem is started last night around 12....untill now 10am (Size 827.28MB) still downloading ;-( hahaha
kealvalro, just wanted to check with u what's your suggestion for Azureus setting to make it faster??? i m using a router but i m not sure how to look for the tcp port no. ??? Also can i stop my dl half way & contine later, if can how to do it???

blackcats-games.net(need to register)new games come out quick here
torrentspy.com is my oldest(no need register)but some or even less are broken files so best to read the comments before downloading
doki setting the router u might be confused.coz first different routers has different settings.what is the brand and model of your router.yes u can stop the download by closing it.but do not remove the file.just close the program.and reopen it when u want to continue downloading.

just to confirm I updated from 2.6 to 2.71 on a non TA-082 and did the HenC + Devhook, just my own preference I turned the wallpaper off and just have a different background colour which I like. I did it a week or so ago and there seems to be more stuff in the newer easy download so I wanted to check before I help friends out. Thought it would be a good idea to check to see if anyone has gone brick like.

can someone help me i have a yugioh gx tagforce jap iso and a 2.71 ta-082 motherboard i have no problem getting devhook by chunglam up and running i can also het in to the game but when ever i challange someone to a duel it freezes any suggestions out there i really need it.

You mean PSP to PSP? Do you use an ISO vs someone who has a UMD in their drive? That could be the problem, I haven't tested that personally but maybe it has something to do with iso vs UMD. Please give more details.

Incase your question wasn't answered. If you get uTorrent @ uTorrent.com it shouldn't take more than 30 minutes to download a .torrent files. it should be around 5-30 minutes depending on connection etc... I am sure there are faster progs out there that some people on here suggested here but I like to keep it simple so uTorrent works fine. Just download the the file your looking for. It's going to be a .torrent file on those searches, when you download the file it will download in uTorrent. Once it's finished it will be an .ISO . Some files might have to be changed at the end example .sfr---> change to .iso and should work. If files are 001. .002 then you might have to get a program which shrinks it down to a .iso. There are guides on here about that very problem. Go to the search engine and type in torrent and you'll find that thread. Good luck.

i am using an iso and my psp is 2.71 i get it to run and then it freezes when i go to duel someone. I am not sure if this game requires different settings or something like that and no its just vs the comp
EDIT: I ALMOST JUST GOT IT TO WORK BY PUTTING THE CPU CLOCK TO 133mhz
AND THE PRL-ADRSS TO 88E000000 but it still froze right as soon as it was about to show the rock paper scissors cards

prl-addr 0X89200000
and if you are p;ay WLAN then best to use the same channel
like if u are channel 1
u friend channel 1 too
do not set it to automatic,try it first

NOW, need more help form u guys again...heeee, my router details, NETGEAR / 108 Mbps Wireless Router / WGT624. the downloading time is killing me ;-( anyother way to make it faster???
PSPSteve, i m using uTorrent 1.6 for my Notebook the speed is very slow??? anyway to make it faster also???? Try downloading 1 Ep. TVB Drama, the size is 325MB but still take me about 6 to 7 hrs. to download ;-( is this normal???
i will ask u guys later again for more advice on the files that i download (iso and the drama files), cos. the iso files i downloaded can't play??? the drama files i still did not try it yet don't know can watch or not. HAHAHAAA
