Well, what I did was just place the files from the old dh to the new dh. And if some folders had the same name, I changed the folder name. I don't think you should follow what I say though. Since I'm a PSP noob. I just got my PSP this month. Ask other members of this GREAT thread.
My PSP Firmware History: 2.60 had to return the PSP because it had a dead pixel > new PSP had firmware 2.71 > 1.5 > 3.52 M33 > 3.52 M33-4 > 3.71 M33 > 3.71 M33 with 1.50 kernel

I am just about to try this on my new psp that has the TS-082 and 2.60. If I understand this correctly I have to do all of these steps?
1ST CHOICE: steps a thru g, and *all* of the 2.71 steps a thru e???

The reason I ask is because it seems some of the steps are listed 2 times. Like the devhook and hend are in both parts, but different versions? I am a little confused on this.

And how about the PSP which always be in sleep mode, not the totally off mode? Is there any disadvantages or even dangerous thing to it?

well guys i know this is crap but there is a 2.80 ta-079 and ta-081 downgrader but there is none for us yet.well still gotta wait but if any of u guys has any of the two version go downgrade it if u want.but it is still risky

hey im a bit of a noob at emulating etc.. but i followed your great guide and now im emulated at 3.02... now i wanna play a game i downloaded , bleach 3, the files downloaded contained folders ISO, DH and PSP... the instructions tells me to copy and paste into memory stick root but then i will overwrite my other files... im kinda scard and don't wanna screw up i realii wanna know how i can play... oh and the ISO folder has a CSO file in it jus to let yu know... thnx heaps in advance and also thnx for great guide =D

krap and also... when i turned off my psps... it turned back originally to 2.71 again ><... i tried doing the guide again but when i ran DEVHOOK Launcher VAHEX Mod it said The game could not be Started.(80010002)... now i formatted my memory stick and am doing the whole thing again... what did i do wrong or is this meant to happen ><... btw i have a 2.71 TA-082

ugh. i am having the same problem too. i dont know where to put emultators or rom's either

hey kealvalro. how do ou place the old devhook back.? do you mean the dh folder in "devhook launcher for FW2.71" and do i have to do move the files from 1.50 dump US to dh/150 folder as well.?

I started the devhook 3.02 and it booted ok. Should the version still say 2.71? When I pick the 3.02 option it boots ok back into the desktop of the psp but im not sure if 3.02 is running or not. Is there any way to tell, or is the fact that it booted saying it worked?

help help!!!! i follow all the set up and i succesfully run the devhook and FW 3.02 but the only porblem i have i cant load or play the ISO files that i have and cant load at all my files is tekken and either the xmb-boot cant load at all.... could anyone help me please....

I just bought a PSP in Hong Kong, I've read all 1700+ msg in this thread, and I can't get anything working.
I do have a TA-082 (as per that code on my PSP Mobo), but I have System Software 3.02 (as per System Information). Does anyone else have this version?
I d/l'ed the Easy Installer (release Dec13, '06), but when I open the HEND folder, I see the RAND, but the other tiff just shows a corrputed data. I run a slideshow in the HEND folder, but it simply displays the RAND file. My PSP doesn't do what it says on this thread. None of the descriptions in the thread match mine!
Help me. plz..

mmm. hend and dh dont work on fw 3.02 .. i guess you'll have to wait for a while until someone comes up with something for it.

ok i think i managed to find where to place all the files of my downloaded game... but heres the problem... i run dev 0.51 beta for 2.71... this is afta i ran HEN-D... i then adjusted everything that my game required...
* UMD Select: We must select it .iso/.cso that we want to load.
* UMD Mount: We leave it in " ISO AnyUMD ".
* UMD Version: 2. The XXth-> 2.00
* Firmware: 2.71
* CPU Clock: Speed of the CPU (266Mhz).
* BOOT Select: Reboot XMB.
i then pressed start which rebooted my psp... then i used DEVHOOK 0.51 launcher BETA... it got past that green white wateva stage... then it crashed and im bck to where i am in the beggining version 2.71 normal... what have i done wrong ><

I'm from Germany and that is the point of my first question:
Does all this works with a german psp? Where is the difference?
And my 2nd question:
Do I need a usb cable to play iso-files or can i put them right on the memory stick?

mmm just check whether it's a non-ta or ta mobo. and the firmware.
and u can put them on your ms.

I just know, that it is a "ta 082" mobo and the firmware is 2.71.

yea its been down for a couple of days. i just got the normal devhook files from psp-hacks.com
