Hey please help!!!!!
(i pick the Devhook "K" easy installer)

14.Go to "FLASH INSTALL".now read and do this carefully,in here Choose "install configfile to flash1:.after that u again will be in a dos mode lookalike.now over here press and hold the "O" button for 1secs and u will see it saving files

(After this step, I should be in 3.02...)

15.Now Click on start and wait.for about 5-15secs it depends on your memorystick speed, now u will be in 3.02. Press "HOME" button to take off the devhook menu.and do the firmware settings then go check your check you "system information" in system settings".

(BUT!!!! after step 14, i am stuck!!! all i could see is a black screen with nothing or a screen that is blue asking me to press "O" to reconfig my PSP cos its corrupted!!!!)

(what should i do???)

I had the same problem
make sure dev hook was installed to your root directory and put an iso in your iso folder if everything was done correctly your game should be under the game folder on your mem stick

you should see dev hook and move up pr down and you should see your game

All us Ta-082 ppl feel like lost sheep tryn to get stuff to work on this 3.02 0eb
i cant even get a ps1 game to work

Does anybody know where to get Hot shots 2 game of the playstation store, and its keys.bin besides the playstation store becuase i dont have a PS3
also how can you play games via the usb host???

youwei86 - I have exactly the same issue. It fails to enter 3.02, though you can see the DevHook menu. But if I select anything, it freezes & then resets.

Does anyone know if this is an issue with particular models of PSPs, or any step I'm not doing correctly? Tried a few times with no success...

Thanks!!

If you don't like 3.02 OE-B you can flash to 1.50 again in the recovery option.I just tested it for any updates that my be needed in the future. In the readme file it explains you can make a RECOVERY folder in the PSP\Game\ folder. Then copy over the files flasher for recovery/RECOVERY folder included in 3.02 OE-A.Then get your 1.50 firmware update and rename it to UPDATE.pbp and place it in the RECOVERY folder in PSP\GAME\RECOVERY\ .Once you do this manually turn off your psp system, and restart holding the R button. Then launch the option /PSP/GAME/RECOVERY/EBOOT.PBP.It will reflash your nand with the 1.50 firmware, and should give you a fresh start if you mess up the first time.I don't intend to do this alot or even want to,but I thought I would share this with everyone.

whats not impressive about it?

Well it is a custom firmware flash,so if you do use 3.02 OE-A or OE-B.It will be stored on your nand, meaning the only way to upgrade it is with an update specifically for the 3.02 OE or reflashing the nand.

Does anyone know if I need to uninstall the previously installed DevHook 0.51 config file from the flash before using the 1.50 downgrader? Has anyone tried it with uninstalling it and without uninstalling it?

All I can say is do a clean format before proceeding, and make sure you have your PSP battery full.I wouldn't take any chances, cause it does write to the nand and could possibly brick.

Did you leave the Devhook config file in flash when you did the downgrade?

WHAT IS THERE TO PERFECT?! ALL I WANNA KNOW IS IF I PUT THE FILES INTO THE CORRECT DIRECTORIES, THAT'S WHY I HAVE THE WINDOWS OF THE FOLDERS OPEN AND I HAVE THE FOLDER LIST ON THE SIDE!

Well the config file, not sure how you went about it though.I wrote it to F1 not F0,so I'm not sure what your outcome would be if you did it different.I hope I helped you out a little bit pandalori, but format your memory and make sure you have your battery charged at 100%.I know in the readme it says it has to be over 75% or you will get an error message saying your battery is low and it will close out,but just to be on the safe side charge your battery until it is full.

Having trouble with the TA-082 Guide
I have a TA-082 running 2.71 bought purchased on 12-26-06
I noticed that when running HEND it is much more successful if you
start it by pushing right and not X

My Problems:
After I run devhook0.4X launcher for 2.71 I get an error

"The game could not be started. (80010002)"

However My name is Changed to Papayo and I am showing Version 1.50

I run PSAR Dumper and press X runs fine
copy f0 to desktop and then go to format my flash
and after it formats it crashes and says
"An internal error has occurred. (80084E25)"
Then switches to a blue screen and displays
"Setting information is corrupted. Press the O button to repair and restore default settings." in 9 different languages

Pressing O does nothing only a hard reset and it puts me back at square one with my name and version 2.71.

I have tried to skip formating the memory stick but could not boot DEVHOOK 0.51.0100 + Multi language (and yes i did put f0 into dh/302)

What do I do?

Stop cry'in Noob

I'm asking for someone to see if I put the files in the right directory... those are the pictures of my folders, can someone compare theirs with mine.

Forget about how to run the DEVHOOK, if you got PSP TA-082 and has 2.71 FW, just downgrade it to FW 1.5 then USE the 3.02 OB upgrade from dark alex.

Whats the benifits?:

1. You are using the 3.02FW and not emulating it using DEVHOOK. means its already in your PSP flash memory.

2. You can run ISO/CSO games withouth DEVHOOK, you can run it directly from XMB.

3. You can run Homebrew almost all homebrew that only working in FW 1.5, yes you can run it directly on your FW 3.02 OB.

4. You can PLAY PS1 games using the built-in PS1 emulator on FW 3.02

JUST TRUST DARK ALEX, and have the GUTS to downgrade your PSP. Already Tested it and works flawlessly.

ITS FOR US TA-082 PSP USERS, SO GRAB IT NOW LOL.

heres the link. http://www.psp-hacks.com/2006/12/27/ta-0...eased/#comments

Just wanted to drop a thx to kealvalro for starting this thread..... I've been reading for awhile and after getting a new PSP 48h ago, I'm up with the easyinstaller!!!

I dunno how much freezing everyone else gets try to load hend, but it took me 4-6 resets each time until I did this:

move cursor over the hend thumbnail but DON'T open it yet. Wait for it to blink 5-6 times, then open. Now I get like 1 freeze for every 10 runs. Hope this works for others.

kostyam69, click USB Connection on PSP, open up the removable drive that pops up in Windows and make a folder called iso (it's there if you used easyinstaller)... then just drop your iso into that folder.

Put a UMD disc into PSP now. On PSP, exit USB and press Home to bring up devhook menu. Scroll to 'umd image' and press right until it shows the iso - read it on bottom left corner of screen. Then press Home to get rid of menu. Pick Game on PSP menu and you should see your iso running as a UMD.

i think i've explained this before...here goes...

youwei86 when you first run 3.02 and see the blue screen with lots of different languages, it's called the psp syetem recovery, just press 'O' and set up the system settings(date, time, language, etc.) after that you'll be in emulated 3.02. if you wanna run your ISOs just press 'HOME' and mount your ISOs under the UMD IMAGE selection...hope you have your ISOs in the ISO folder in the root of your memory stick. then after mounting close devhook, don't exit devhook! then insert your UMD game disc in the UMD tray of your psp and wait for it to load, then select UMD and play.

frozennw i dunno what you want to do with your psp. which of the choices did you choose? is there something wrong with the emulation or running of ISOs in your psp? if you really want to run ISOs then i recommend you go for the 'K' easy installer, everything you'll need is there to run your ISOs, except your ISO...download them from some other sites.

hope this helps...

btw...i'm happy with my 2.71 official firmware...i tried to emulate 1.50 firmware but don't see anything special about that firmware...and if i wanna run 3.02 i'll just emulate it in devhook...less worries of bricking my psp...well that's my opinion...enjoy!

Proud owner of a Sony PSP TA-082 motherboard running on 2.71 FW HEN-D and Devhook .046 and Devhook 0.51 for 2.71 now emulating 3.02 FIRMWARE.

We all know that HEND is only a temporary solution for us to run devhook and to play ISO/CSO games. Now is the to remove that temporary solution. We all know Dark_Alex and hes the one who created this Downgrade for our unlucky TA-082 mobo's. He created this for us, all you need to do is trust he's work. you dont need to worry its already TESTED. Infact I downgraded 7 PSP's with 2.71 FW TA-082 downgraded to FW 1.5 and upgraded it to 3.02 OE-B, Special thing about this is we dont need HEND anymore just to launch the DEVHOOK, we all know how hard to run the HEND. Its a big relief. Plus playing PS1 games and loading ISO/CSO directly is easy too.

in yr psp root, there will be a folder call
"ISO" just put your iso or cso inside to play games.
if u don't have the folder, u can create it yourself..

gd luck!
