yeah, america sucks like that. i'll be parking close to the front. either way ittl be mid-morning by the time they open, and broad daylight in open view is not a common time crimes are commited in. a short walk would be easy.
But they all do sort of the same thing, and that is rearrange what you thought was real, and they remind you of the beauty of very simple things. You forget, because youre so busy going from a to z, that theres 24 letters in between... You turn on... tune in... and you drop out...

i agree, i don't think walking to your car is that serious. especially if people are smart enough to park upclose to the store, probably looking at 20 yards or so from the entrance to your car. i wouldn't be surprised if there were some problems when it comes down to the last person to get a console and the person behind them. didn't camp for the 360 so not sure what to expect, hopefully my preorder at F.Y.E. holds up. at this point i'd be more concerned with how they are going to allow people to get the model they really want.
off topic, here is something to look and think about. not sure what it is meant to represent at this point

So anubis, how would you smoke weed right in front of a store? Isn't that kind of a public place? I would think you would be worried about being caught. That is a cool thought though. Sure would help pass time.

i've got good friends. i've got a good friend, one of my best, who's on the football team and i think benches somewhere over 300 now. he wants to come just cuz it'd be fun and interesting to be there to see the atmosphere and to chill. he could hold my spot and i and other go off behind the store. he'd also keep some of the potential rift-raft away from me. but hey, maybe the people there will be cool and smoke too, or just not care.

As well about the part of somebody jacking your ps3 there may actually be "caugh caugh "pigs" caugh caugh" (oh I mean cops wait no police officers) around there watching so that nothing like that happens. Of coarse it wont happen everywere just maybe in big citys.
AS for the part of you being caught smoking weed whatever you probably wont get caught if you are in a tent.

I would not be so sure about this emachine because i bet alot of people see the samething your seeing.I live in a small town also but when PS2 came out there was so many people at my BB.Some was saying they came as far as 100 miles to that area.

Who is taking Pre-orders because from what i heard from my friend a storemanger @ the BestBuy here is Nobody going to have Pre-order so far because most of the store fear that they would get Bum rushed even if they just pre-order.He told me that BestBuy going to be first come first served.Also good luck with EBgames because them guys are being very tight lip about everything.

preordering is absoluetly no garantee. why would you even think of pre-ordering if there are so few consoles? maybe as a back up but not as your reliance. slackers will be rewarded with nothing. enjoy canning 100 bucks and still waiting till near xmas or after.

Pre-ordering does help i talk to the Manger @ EBgames before i gave my hundred dollars and he told me that his store was getting 10 PS3.So i better be there when the store open.If i get there i dont have to wait just be by the door and show your slip.The reason why they not promiseing people one because you will have some thinking that EB games will hold that unit for them but its not going to work like that.If you dont pickup your system that day then the next day it will be sold to someone else.But you will still have your pre-order.

hmm then thats no hard feeling for me then. I'll just preorder ones online, go to walmart get 3-4 then try to get to another store.

Exactly but if it means getting one everyones gonna do it. But i am gauranteed one tho already where I live i just have to get out of school a little early then sit, eat food, play psp, w/e in warm clothes up here in new england and i got my ps3. Then a day later ill be waiting for wii.
In fact I think we would be fooling our selves if we have a community this large, and did not realize that there are some enemies present.

those who try to scam, exploit or rip people off are the silly ones. i don't really see a problem with someone understanding the situation with the limited supply and auctioning off their system. EVERYONE has or had the same opportunity to go out, just like the rest of us and camp, sit, wait outside for their preorders or system. now if your underage and couldn't get a ride, had work, etc,. well as unfortunate as it may be it simply boils down to how bad someone wants it, and how far they are willing to go, but like i said before the opportunity was there.

But there is a point in pre-ordering cause you can go infront of everyone and be first in line for camping so that way you dont have to camp.

Jtan you need to take an economics class
it is simple supply and demand m8 Icant speak for anyone else but I am not ripping anybody off the people that buy these things are doing it willingly and they are the ones that are creating the market in the first place. I am not selling a broken unit and claiming it is new this is an honest transaction were both parties come away happy.
