Hey Guys I'm new here and had my PSP recently. I have a PSP with firmware version 3.30 OEAR+ , Is this firmware ok or is there a higher version out there that I could use. In this firmware I can play games without an omd?? need response soon sonthat Icould update my firmware. Thabks guys

I have original 2.01 firmware. Whats the best firmware to have right now? 3.40 or is there something newer?
This is the first time I ventured into the psp threads (I've used the ps2 and DVD forums and want to expand to PSP now)
Im sure there is a guide out there but I do not know where to begin and since the first step is the most important and I need to learn what is what, I hope someone can help steer me in right direction.
Do I also need to get the Lumines? I have a 2gb MemoryStick with 1gb free space as I have 1 movie saved.
Anyone can help would be appreciated

thats only from 3.03. do u have firmware 3.03 or lower? then u can use GTA LCS unpatched to downgrade
(+[__]%) put this psp in ur siggy. just do it.

that day u told me upgrade to v3.50.

u cant now. sorry i told u to upgrade, i dont really recall doing so...
theres always ebay or ebgames. dont pay a cent over $40.

Well, there is one but it was full of bugs. Sony have made one (PopStation) n its in firmware 3.03 and up. U need to convert PSX iso to Eboots. Also it only works on custom firmware. those who dont have cf have to buy it through PS3.

ps1 emulator is a wayste of time then. better with N64 and other emulators. i heard there was a ps3 emulator. is this true..

Popstation the ps1 emulator made by sony works great (the one made by other ppl before it was released wasnt good)... near 100% emulation on most of the games. PS3 emulator... for PSP no way, for PC... highly doubt that...maybe run 1-2 games/demos but it will require a good com-p to run it. since ps2 emulator for PC isnt 100% yet.

but i cant find it in malaysia!!!!! in malaysia lumines umd is a new version and they know lumines umd can downgrade so they sell around 100 U.S. dollar!!!

I would search eBay and see what it sells for there.
If you do not have any luck with Lumines, try searching forum boards. They may have answers that might suit your needs.
Even though Afterdawn is my choice, I still browse others for answers as well. Sorta like a second opinion
