I've decided to go with Ubuntu instead, it can use bluetooth and wireless, seems a lot easier to install etc. Thanks anyway.

Sorry nobody got to you sooner. You DON'T have to type anything in. When it gets to the kboot point press TAB and when it gets to install press ENTER. Hope that helps.

Tried that as well. Didn't work.
I'll just redownload YDl again. I have Ubuntu installed. It's ok. I'd rather see YDL though. What's the best way to remove Ubuntu to install YDL without losing anything on my HDD?

Now if I could just get Wi-Fi set up properly. I downloaded the kernel wifi file and I think I installed it properly but I'm not sure where to go from there. :(

What the point anyway? I got rid of it a few days after I put it on the PS3. It's pointless.

YES YES YES. YDL is completely a waste of 10gb of space on your PS3. Unless you have no home computer or laptop DON"T waste your time! And it can't do half the things a regular mac or pc can do!!! I put it on and used it for a few days then it sat there for a month. I finally took it off. ....... I am glad finally someone else thinks the same.

OMG 10gb is so much space, isn't it?
Sony "Computer" Entertainment. Just wait. I think it's really cool though if you're used to having 2 people share one computer, which isn't fun. =(
Eventually, I'll be able to do things on the PS3 the same on my PC, especially play WoW, which would be fucking awesome on my 1080p 32in wall mounted TV. :D

You're not going to be able to play WOW on your PS3. BTW what's the point of running a game with shitty graphics at 1080p? The extra resolution wont make the graphics suck less.

Dude. The ps3 does not allow the YDL to use the graphics accelerator. You won't be able to play anything that requires even the lowest grade graphics card. Sorry. Maybe sony will someday allow the other os to use the total power of the system, but not until the PS3 sells ALOT MORE consoles. ....

Bleh. It's still cool to have to check email, play Kingdom of Loathing, myspace, post of message boards, etc.. when your GF is using the actual PC.
Doesn't bother me at all really. I use my PS3 all the time.

No I haven't yet. The installation guides for them are a bit weird. Either that, or I just suck at reading/following the guides. =\

You have to go into the settings for the internet connections. Disable and then reconnect. If you have a working wifi it should connect you. Unfortunately you have to do it everytime you turn the PS3 off and on. It's annoying. If you have a wireless keyboard I would just use the PS3's browser. It's much easier.
