Thanks Brian and TheStig85 :)
I've done as you said and unplugged and re-plugged and it seems to be fine now so thanks :)
I'll also do as you said and save the channel .txt file to my desktop for future ref.
I've downloaded the STBlink.exe and I'll be sure to do that later on as the wife is hogging the tv and the minute lol
At least I know how to read and install a channel dump as today I knew nothing on the replay lite.
I've also bookmarked this thread and I'll give it a going over tonight after the footie as I'd also like to know how to install the latest firmware ect... for future probs..
Thanks again guys :)

Hi fellas, I'm just going back to my orininal post regarding the sync issue I seem to be having....
I just sat down now and I can still notice it on some channels more than others... it's enough to do your head in :(
I've tried unplugging and re-plugging a few times but seems to be the same.
When I got this box from my mate it already had the channels sorted, is it possible that the channel dump he has on it is out of sync ?
The receiver info on this box is : SW Version 9.10
HW Version 1770-1.0-CS100
Is that the latest firmware for the box and in your opinion what would be the best option to try have a go to sort this sound issue out, a re-flash ? Or a factory reset ?
Sorry for all the questions here guys, but as I said I'm in unknow waters as I'm used to the starview only.
It's only a mili-second out of sync but it's enough to make you switch off the tv lol
Thanks guys :)

Thanks for the reply..
I'm in the Clondalkin area of Dublin.
To me it seems that the sounds is distorted in some way but I can't put my finger on it... The only way I can put it is if you download a movie and it's slighly out of sycn, well all my stations seem to be like that.
If I do another scan will all my channels be messed up as in not in the order they are in now ?
It doesn't matter if they are mixed up as I wouldn't mind spending an hour or 2 sorting them out if it would solve this prob.
I have a starview upstairs and it's fine audio and pic wise and I've tried the replay lite without using the splitter and still the same.. the pic is fine but the audio is messed up.

If this is so put a channel data file on the box.
Use this one if you haven't backed up your own.
http://www.speedyshare.com/664331132.html
It is for Dublin area but it might kickstart your box, then you can scan for channels.
Open up the Stblink..select "RUN"
Set Up Comm
Select "Write Factory Data" a prompt box will open for you to get the downloaded file.
Double click on the file and it will transfer to your box.
When your box reads good.
Unplug the power and null modem lead.
Power back up the box, you should see some channels.
Then do a scan for your area.
Best of luck M8ty
YES!!!! GOT IT!!! Brian you are a Fu***ng Genius mate!! :)
Sorry about panicking like a girl earlier :) I was ready to go and buy a new box BUT you were right I did not relaod the factory data correctly! Plugged back in today, loaded factory data after several attempts (kept loosing connection) and Voila! My box is up & running like new! Thank you so much for all of your help!
I'm sure i'll be back for the next update but till then chow.

I think my mate done up his own channel dump, so I don't really trust it lol...
Should I put on the channel dump "Brians favs" ?
Before I ever put on a channel dump should I factory reset the replay lite box first ?
EDIT:
I just went into user insatllation and hit factory default and when it came back on all the stations are still there in the same order and then I did a channel auto scan and it said found 0

Yep I just scanned that on Auto scan from 290 to 418, it took roughly 15 minutes to scan but nothing found.. is this a problem lol
Even after the factory default all the channels are in their original order... can this be right ?

Oh right, yes I can get all my channels as I got the box, I have all my stations... even after I do a factory default I still have all my stations... It's just that they seem to be slightly out of sync.
My normal cable is fine and as I said I have all the channels on the replay lite..all the movies, sports ect.. But it's like the factory default does nothing... all my stations are in the same place after I do the factory restet.

I still have it on my N*L Digibox in the other room. In North Dublin by the way.

Cheers Sandisk,
You are welcome,
Lot's of good helpers on here and throughout AfterDawn.
Here's another tip, me and the missus went to the Movies tonight.
We saw a film called "The Happening"
Don't waste your hard earned cash going to see this.
It's quite possibly the worst film I ever seen.
Plan 9 From Outer Space was more professional.
Glad you are up and running M8ty

That's ironic Brian that you should say that, I actually saw the trailer for "The Happening" a couple of days ago I thought about takin the other half to see it maybe tonight lol but that's the third negative view I've heard of it so I reckon I'll go see something else :D
Ok so now my box seems to be running perfect apart from me missing a few of the music channels, well I'm missing most of them actually. I just get the N/A scrambled.
Any suggestions on the process on getting them missing channels back is greatly appreiciated :)
Cheers fellas

Quote: Tip....some of the channels you may think are missing are not really missing at all, they are just labelled as Tv Ch and therefore just need to be identified and renamed in the channel manager option.
Menu
Channel Manager
TV Channel
Scroll down to TV Ch until you find missing channel
Green Edit button
Rename CH
