ok we will start can you do a factory reset for me just press the ok button then put in 1668 and it will reset the box then come back

if you have the Starview v4 on it you won't pick up channels.you have to have "the box" firmware on it.

you are not ment to open this file it is only for the box you need to download the gtrom loader as well on to your pc

Just to confirm what i am doing:
upload the software, box resets itself, plug in n** cable to input, scan the channels, then go to hidden menu 1570, select EMU to ON, go to nagravision and select provider and save it, then do another rescan by selecting same provider and then it should be ok.

No to get a proper install my advice would be to reset your box before you put on the file on

when you have that done plug your box in again and turn to standby wuth remote clock should be on the front then load the file with the gtrom loader wait till it has completed the task when you see 100% wait it still has not finished wait another 30/40 seconds till you get a message on your pc and the box has the words on on it then disconnect your box from the pc

Hi guys, basically after some research found out that n** digital services are not available in my area yet. Can someone confirm that the box will not work if digital services are not available no matter what you try. Cheers.

you should need digital but cant see why it wont work on the other you will get what ever is there i presume do you neighbours have boxes from N** do you know

My neighbours do, but i think they have cable. Kind of makes sense because my cable box still works and there is a live feed, but not with digital. I presume you need to have a digital feed in order to pick up the channels, because nothing is being picked up. Oh well, any idea when analogue transmission ends in the UK

all the boxes only work on cable and not a dish do they have a box from N** do you know if they have they have to be digital try to find out
