anybody had any problems with the box super where the majority of the channels dissapear and your just left with a selection of about 50 channels togaether for example 101-156? it happens to me reguarly all i need to do is switch power off at the back and straight back on again and its fixed just wondered if anybody else had this issue?

hmmm strange i've had all the different firmware's available and they all do it but it always autorolls so not really a problem

yeah the box used to annoy me too much channel sorting needed thats why i prefer the supers and there cheap i just picked up 10 for 640

they are to cheap aint they
but the booting issue i have one from the first batch and i got one form the new batch and the first one boots every now and then and new one maybe the same first one had 6.00 then i put 6.01 helped it a lot other one has 7.05 so not sure what the prob really is there both tthe same

I have the box super and it often reboots why does it do this, its not a major problem it comes straight back on but just wondering, I thought i had just got a dodgey one! It has fw. 6.00 on it.

i believe there is new firmware v 8.0 to fix that problem anto

i have had over 150 of these box supers from at least 10 different sellers and there all exactly the same to look at so does anybody know whether or not these have actually been cloned or not i've never seen anything in here about how to spot the difference and i always read every post whereas there was lots to say about the clones of the originals
as for the software there is a newer release than 8.00 it is 7.09 i've had both software's and they all do the same

sorry rich your right i didnt even look at the dates i went by the number of the file,well if you read through the link i put up youll see the reason for the new firmware to be released, all down to the rebooting problem,hope ye dont get 150 complaints!

complaint no 1 lol ,box super v.8 has been dropped and to use v.7.09 for new model with xtra tv output,earlier model v.6.01

hi,
hello everyone i am new to this forum website and also new to starview, i was wondering how i would go about setting up a starview box to get all the channels as i have found sellers who sell the new starview 3 boxes but they dont provide much help so i was wondering if anyone on this forum could help me out.

hi im new to this forum. I have had a starview the box super for about a couple of months. everything was great until last week on sat i tried to watch setanta sports but it couldnt pick up a signal so i read somewhere the best thing to do was delete it then rescan so i did that but the channel was completely gone then so after that i tried reseting and reflashed it still nothing and now slowly more channels have gone missing today im picking up between 120 and 300 channels usually 415 no kids programs for my son which he is a bit p****d off for a 3 year old lol but i cant get mainly sky sports or setanta channels if someone could help me solve this problem before sat coz there is a match on tv i have to watch i would be most thankfull i live in swansea wales if that is any help i hgave tried everything and googled everything to no avail
